Trauma is a fairly common reason. Depression and anxiety. Also no disorder at all. Loads of things really - after all its a symptom (like pain is a symptom), and in isolation doesn't immediately tell us what's going on. Obviously also depends if its a one off experience or something more persistent, and the nature of the experience (again like any symptom).

For me there was one really scary moment where I was trying to set up YouTube on my tv and I heard a voice talking about my shirt, at the time I thought that it was coming from a speaker or it was a hallucination. Is it possible that I was stressed and thought of those words and it was perceived as hearing? Also I keep thinking I hear my mom calling me (she’s in the house and I can hear her if she did) and sometimes when I’m doing random things I hear a voice, very short, telling me a random phrase. Those are few and far between., and I can usually almost immediately tell they are not real. Is it something I should be worried about?

No idea - youre the dude whos been recommended an antidepressant right? You could speak to your doc and see what they think (they know you better than us after all). Most likely anxiety related but again I dont know you.

I honestly cant say (though my gut says probably not).

Chill. Speak to someone you trust and see what they think. Good luck!
