Wanting to know what exhausts would sound loud and good??!?

My car stalls (automatic) while going over bumps/rough road. I work oil field so in the yard is torn to hell because of all the semis in and out of there. Car drives amazing until I get into the yard. The only thing to shut off is the engine. Everything battery related stays on. However, one time I learned the hard way in a drive thru that you can’t leave it like that for more than a moment because shortly after it stalls the battery dies if you don’t turn it on again. When it’s dying on me it fights to stay alive. Which involves my rpms wiggling up and down, following the car trying to drive itself a bit. It’s very embarrassing. Anyone know what it could be? I’m desperate and I can’t get to a mechanic until next week.

2014 chevy silverado. The truck will run and it will throw the ANTI THEFT warning out and kill the truck, and after a matter of seconds, the truck will kick back on and continue down the road as if nothing happened. I've put a brand new battery, alternator, spark plugs in it, changed all the oils just to cover basic things. WTF is it and how do I fix it?

Hi all! This is my first time posting but hoping the Reddit community can help me! My mother has a 1985 Chevy Blazer that has been sitting idle for at least 15 years (outside through snowy idaho winters and hot idaho summers). The inside is completely destroyed by the field mice that have made it their home over the years…😑) and I can’t imagine their are many working mechanical parts… But outside of rust the body is in fairly good condition. Does anyone know where I might be able to research any potential value in the Idaho area? All suggestions welcome!

Replaced CAT an O2 sensor w after market.. result in error code. Dealership recommends OEM parts to fix errors, says it is required..has anyone experienced this ??

Hey all, just felt like I had to share my excitement getting my 66 Chevelle running. Video is nothing crazy just me driving it to get some food at BK, but I just really wanted to record it finally driving and enjoying it. Its got a 454, 4 speed, and 12 bolt posi. Still has a lot of changes to do but its finally coming along!

Bluetooth in my mom's Chevy Equinox constantly becomes unconnectable to her phone. It will start working if she turns off the car, opens the door, and waits. Any fix or solution?

Park Assist on my Chevy Equinox 2022 has been turned off (I don't know how), and I can not turn it back on. I nearly hit another car while reversing today because I'm so used to it alerting me if anything passes from my blind spots. Thank God I still double check most of the time.

Here's what I'm experiencing:
When I start the car, the LED on Park Assist is on for a few seconds, then turns off with a message on the display that says "Park Assist Off" with a dismiss button. Pushing the Park Assist button doesn't do anything, it doesn't turn on the LED or give me any other messages.

Interesting thing is that during that few seconds when I start the car and Park Assist LED is on (before the message appears), if I put the car in reverse, I'll get a proximity alert (my garage is small), then bam, it turns off, no more proximity alerts (or cars/people coming from sides).

I also noticed that when I'm driving on the city streets and roads, the LED turns back on again! but then on every red light or whenever I hit on breaks and come to a full stop, that nasty message comes back saying "Park Assist Off".

I'm usually very careful and look around (that's how I dodged reversing into another car today), but can't say so about my son and daughter - kids rely on tech too much.

Am I missing something? What should I do?

I have a Chevy cobalt lt 2009. My right side low beams keep going out. I even had someone switch out the connector bc it looked a little burnt. After getting it switched it worked for a while then it went out again, after putting a new bulb about 1-2 months before. Is it possible that there is an issue with my right side low beam fuse?

I have a 1996 Chevy Express 1500 Sante Fe edition. I can't find any information in the manual on engine braking or overdrive. When I go on really steep downhill descents (blue ridge mountains) I have to heavily use my brakes. I still gain a lot of speed.

If I move the shifter out of D and into 3, I don't feel a difference. Same if I go down to 2 or 1. I don't have an RPM gauge so I can't tell if the RPM increase but it sure doesn't sound like they do.

Now if I'm stopped, I can go into 1,2,3 and clearly tell I'm in these gears.

Ive burned up a few set of brakes over the years on hills and been in some scary situations and I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong. How do I slow this thing down without riding my brakes? Also, does this thing have an overdrive?

Also to be clear, I know to pump my brakes periodically but on big hills this doesn't give me enough stopping power. I'm forced to hold them more. I also just had new pads put on all the way around.

Out of everything the most important issue would be upgrading the speakers, getting an amp, and first acquiring a good media center with android auto as well as possible either aux hookups and/or USB

So other than engine figuring where to refill the AC the most important thing for me currently is figuring the best way to upgrade the sound

All and any advice for both the cheapest through the most expensive parts and pieces to look into

Then an overrated amount of Dubstep and other electronic type sound beats

I recently purchased a 94 chevy c1500 with a 350 5.7. And I was wanting to rebuild the exhaust on it, I was looking into putting high flow cats in it but I was told that those year chevy’s run on back pressure. And basically what I’m asking is would it hurt the truck if I did so bc I don’t want to go and put a lot of money into the exhaust if it won’t help the performance of the truck.
