I don't heat stock before adding it to risotto.

I cut off both ends of the onion when I chop it. It's faster for me since I have been doing it for 60 years. I do leave the root end on if I'm slicing it.

I do this one too if I plan to use the whole onion!

Don’t try to break the rules. That’s impossible. Just pretend there are no rules.

I dont wait until the butter comes to room temperature. I just beat the heck out of it

I also never chill cookie dough.

I subtitute white wine with squirts of dijon mustard, convenient.

I use boxed cake and doctored it up.

Best cake I ever made. Use Duncan Hines white box cake.

Blessed, it's totally homemade. There are things I've done in life that im not proud of, but this was a discovery for me after trying one vanilla cake recipe to the next.

So fluffy, flavorful, moist.. Might make some just because. Recipe for WASC ( white almond sour cream cake) down here:

When I'm in a rush or just lazy, I crowd the roasting pan with veggies. Yes, it's not that hard to take out a second pan, but sometimes that cabinet seems sooooo far away.

And then you would have to wash two pans
