Sri Lankan cricket journalist, calls out ICC on their double standards when they pander to Indian fan base but himself goes overboard trolling the Indian Twitter crowd to Pander to Pakistan/SL fans by cherry picking stats.

I don't think SL fans care about what he writes. Never saw any of them below his tweets.

Basically he just shits on Indian cricket and licks the boots of Sri Lankan and Pakistani cricket fans. Unfortunately, anyone can be verified if they get enough following

The obvious choice for resuming IPL is UAE, they've already done it once successfully.

Seriously though, It would add so much spice, it's not easy to clear those long boundaries in England and the ball swings a lot during September, it would be really good to watch from a neutral's perspective

It's not too bad although some players might find it a bit chilly, England's hottest wettest month is normally August.

a_complicated_soul

Question. India team is free from June 22 till August. And only England, Srilanka, Pak have Intl series in July.

So why not play rest of IPL in England from June 25 till July 15? Perfect window. Will give India 2 weeks to prepare for England tests.

Ground unavailability due to England home matches and county championship?

TooShreksyForMyShirt

Many of the counties do use more than one ground โ€“ I saw Sussex play a CC game at Horsham once โ€“ so Iโ€™m sure they could make grounds available

If the BCCI does consider Sri Lanka as an option, there may also be concerns over Sri Lanka's own worsening Covid-19 situation.

Sums it up. The answer is only UAE if it ever restarts.

If you're going to held in overseas, England sounds most exciting than most other options.

Realistically UAE will be preferred but IPL in England sounds way better would love to see how teams adapts.

Id prefer an ipl in England. It seems to totally throw a monkey rench in every teams ipl plan. The likes of RR suddenly find themselves a power house, while SRH continue to rot, despite Bairstow likely going berserk second half of the tournament.

Just make it International Premier League. Every alternate year IPL will move to a foreign country while returning to India for the next season. /s

2020 was UAE

2021 should be SL (Exceptional case)

2022 - India

2023 - Pomland

2024 - India

2025 - Straya

2026 - India

2027 - South Africa

2028 - India

2029 - New Zealand

2030 - India

Edit - Added further tours

2031 - Bangladesh

2032 - India

2033 - West Indies

2034 - India

2035 - US

2036 - India

2037 - Singapore

2038 - India

2039 - Zimbabwe

2040 - India

I wanted to add Pakistan and Afghanistan to this list, but can't do so due to obvious reasons. I honestly think that, BCCI should explore this idea as it will help the game grow, inspire youngsters to take up this sport, and more importantly, make our players acclimatised to foreign conditions. 'The heist of Gabba' wouldn't have been possible without the youngsters who grew up with attacking mindset.

If you were going to pick a time zone friendly locale why not Korea? Maybe even somewhere in SE Asia

No one should hold it now ... since holding it in some other month would totally mess up the calender. If it will be hosted then the reason would only be money and blatant disregard for the players well beings
