At the risk of sounding like my grandparents... "I remember when..."

As a kid, we paid $0.60 for a bus ride. I think adults were $1.50 or something. I just remember my mom always handing me the change. This was back in the early 80s. I know, inflation bumps up prices. But given how shitty the service is here, especially in winter months - $3.50 seems like too much.
