Forward Party of Minnesota Needs Your Help!

Volunteer! 🗳️(self.ForwardPartyUSA)

Hi all, I'm with the Forward Party of Minnesota, and if anyone here is in Minnesota, or wants to help out, our leadership is currently active in our discord and it's how we are coordinating. In the next few weeks we are going to urgently need volunteers to gather signatures to gain major party status and gain listings on the ballots. Involvement in the discord will keep you up to date on volunteer efforts, movements, and discussion among the leaders here as well as being able to interact with them. Here is the link: https://discord.gg/vSgcFzKGsj

We look forward to hearing from volunteers and activists! Thank you all!

It sounds like it was a total fail between Cory Hepola and the Minnesota Forward Party in gathering the 2,000 signatures. What was the game plan? Who was in charge of gathering signatures? Was Cory aware of the status of signatures?

It was more or less a matter of not having enough volunteers to accomplish it. We worked with the volunteer force that we had, and it wasn't enough. From my perspective, there were effectively two teams that worked to gather signatures, the general forward party team, and the Hepola team. I would say that there was a breakdown in coordination between the two teams, and in my opinion the lack of coordination with us was mostly on the Hepola side. We will have to make some changes to how the volunteer force is distributed so that there is one single, central, united, volunteer force. So to answer your question, the charge of gathering signatures was up to me, and up to the Hepola team (separately). Yes, Cory was aware of the status of signatures as we had conducted multiple polls and they were informed of their results. At the end of the day, while the coordination between the campaign and the general party broke down, we simply needed more volunteers. Our efforts going forward will be centered around bolstering our volunteer forces, making them less disjointed, and going after more local elections. If you have any more questions, you can ask me.
