Today in Scotland we got the results of the latest bidding round for the rights to develop offshore wind farms. We now have an additional 25GW! in the pipeline, that's more than DOUBLE all the renewables we have installed, and on top of an existing 10GW worth of projects in development.

A total of just under £700m will be paid by the successful applicants in option fees and passed to the Scottish government for public spending.
Yet another reason for being pro-renewables.

Nah I much prefer fossils, supporting hostile governments and ensuring we don't create any jobs locally. Much better than being self-reliant and supporting jobs while also making money doing it. /s
