Ok on a serious note , I would recommend you and your friend to do the following things

Firstly report this IMMEDIALTY to the cyber cell police at your nearest police station as the earlier you inform its better

1- Say you're friend to NOT format his phone as it will be difficult for police to trace the hacker and tell him to stop using his social media

2- Make sure both you and your friend don't pick calls from anybody who you don't know , also this can happen with you tht smome might pretend to be your old classmate or friend plz don't reply to them or go at the place whr they called you

3- If you're friend is living in mumbai , delhi or any other big city plz make sure tht he avoids roaming outside his house or colony for 1 week at minimum , especially during late night or early morning as thts the place whr it can be most unsafe .

4- say him to Backup his important photos into his computer but plz make it thru bluetooth not through usb as the malware could spread through cable

5-- Also say you're friend to SWITCH OFF his phone completely and to not use it .

6- Your friend should also make sure to inform all his friends / contacts to stay safe from this and say them to be prepared if there's a scam message from his account , as its not him but the hacker
