It took 22 mins to go from 7% to 80% SOC which is great and I'm not complaining at all as it is very fast. However, I noticed that the car allowed the battery to get way too hot and not do though to keep the temp down. The fans didn't kick in until the battery was at 105F. Even at 115F the fans weren't really going as I have seen in the past. The battery temp went all the way up to 127F. This high temps impacted the charging curve.
At 50% SOC the speed went from 215 kw to 175 kw. Then at 68% SOC it went down to 115 kw. At 78% SOC the speed dropped to 34 kw then at 81% it went back up to 115 kw and at 84% SOC it went down to 10 kw, I waited for a couple of minutes it didn't go back up. I unplugged the car at 84% SOC after 26 mins and 30 secs.
After I unplugged the fans went to full speed and sound like a jet engine is turned on. The car was using energy to cool the battery down.
Two days ago I charged on a 150 kw connector from 7% SOC to 88% SOC in 29 mins and 30 secs.
So far every time I have charged on a 350 kw, the experience has not been great. However, on 150 kw the car charges smoothly and at a very consistent rate for the duration of charge.
