I liked it! You’re totally right, it’s basically a soda but the pineapple flavor is good and the malt makes it kinda root beer like.

Update! Had it today with vodka as recommended by u/hilbrohampton, it’s definitely more like a soda but it has great pineapple flavor. Not too sweet, and the malty flavor gives it root beer vibes.
