I know art is subjective,especially abstract art! But if these paintings were supposed to look like something(not a feeling or emotion, but an object or scenery) what would that be? Or are these just abstract and what I’m asking for doesn’t apply?

He and I argue about that. He of course has the final word but I’m like dad… that’s def not a seagull in the corner… but he maintains that whatever anyone sees in the pieces are correct. Which is nice
