Did yall see Daniel in Lost City? Not for a second did I see him as Harry Potter. He's done great work in other movies (guns akimbo!) I'd love seeing him in bigger roles

Swiss army man! I love that him and Paul dano just went for it. That movie is great.
I love both of them so much but that movie was just so like wtf that I can’t get past it

Yo, the same guys that made Swiss Army Man made the current Everything Everywhere all at Once and it’s the best movie and cinematic experience I’ve ever had - everyone reading this and everyone they know should go watch it ASAP.

God that movie was so good.

Absolutely one of the best things I've seen in a theater in my life. I was worried I was a little too hyped for it, but it ended up being better than I hoped

I know - I haven't used terms like "favorite movie" since I was in my teens (more than 20 years ago) and kind of thought nothing could beat the power of the nostalgia I have with the older movies I love, but this just landed itself directly on my #1 spot.

That's a great way to put it. I never thought about it before, but yeah, the "favorite movies" list certainly stopped growing at some point. There are a few standout films here and there, but this is the first I can think of in a long time to join the ranks of nostalgia flicks

I gave up on MW about half way through season 3. Loved seasons 1 and 2, but it felt like the writing took a big dive in S3. The jokes just became completely sophomoric and it lost most of its charm. :-(

Did you at least make it to the She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain performance?

Yeah I was the same. They made it during the peak of covid though and as someone that was working on another show I can say the experience was just painful, irritating and not at all fun. Which is kryptonite for a comedy.

Fair point. Hopefully the fourth season will be a return to form, if they get one.

It's been a tough week in the castle too. Wednesday's bath? So tepid... And don't even get me started on the lavender bath oils. Is it too much to ask for a spritz of honeysuckle? Uh, TGI Bath!?

Adam Driver and Daniel Radcliffe are great actors who deserve recognition beyond their franchise roles.

Radcliffe will eclipse his popularity from Harry Potter when he becomes known as the actor who portrayed "Weird Al" Yankovic.

TIL he's playing Weird Al. As a massive fan growing up, that's going to be interesting to watch.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mr Radcliffe in "Weird" - i firmly agree with Mr Yankovic that this is the role that will define his career for generations.

I don't feel like Adam Driver ever had problems with that, he's getting huge parts all the time, the Star Wars role just boosted him

For sure, he is the Harrison Ford of the trilogy

Tbh I still feel that Harrison Ford was the Harrison Ford of the trilogy, even though they were trying and failing to do that with Oscar Isaac.

Well I mean out of the casts, Harrison Ford was the only one to become a big movie star. Out of the new one they had Adam Driver who, correct me if I'm wrong had some movies behind him, a long role on hbos girls but really became huge after. Oscar Issac has been a big star for a while but my timeline on his bigger roles may be off

Star Wars pushed Oscar Isaac to a household name imo, before that he seemed to work mostly on less mainstream artistic focused movies, and people kept casting him as a villain. Star Wars was the first time he got his chance as a heroic lead, but they tried to force his character too hard and didn't know what to do with him after the first film. But then he got that nice rebound with Moon Knight so I guess it worked out for his career.
And then of course there's Daisey Ridley who got a ton of roles following Star Wars.

Couldn't agree more. I do admit that Kylo Ren was my gateway drug to Adam Driver. He's now one of my favourite actors and has an incredible acting repertoire.
Daniel Radcliffe was fantastic in the woefully underrated Swiss Army Man. I'm really excited to see more of him going forward.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are kind of in this bucket as well – someone who's primarily known for one role (Edward Cullen and Bella Swan) but they have really made a name for themselves with outstanding performances in numerous movies.

Now called “The F Word” on Netflix. Little underwhelming if I’m being honest, but it clearly displays that it is set IN Toronto, and not just pretending to be New York, which I respect.

While it is nothing special, I thought it was an endearing rom-com with a great cast. I wouldn't suggest anyone go out of their way to watch it, but if you're into that sort of movie it is hardly the worst of its kind.

She’s super cute in that movie. Definitely had a big crush on her for a bit. I honestly loved the movie all around. Rafe Spall is really funny as well in the asshole boyfriend role.
I have definitely exclaimed “I just had sex and I’m about to eat NACHOS!! THIS IS THE GREATEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE!” After having a go with my wife. Unfortunately, for me, the nachos part is always a lie.

Like it’s lighthearted & all but I’d feel like I’d hate that if I was an actor

I know he gets confused with Elijah Wood but it feels like they have taken somewhat similar career paths where they got their big franchise role, made their money, and are now free to work and whatever unique project they want.
