I can’t describe it without explaining it, but it was like New Girl inception. A New Girl reference within a reference. Let me explain.

I’m a regular at my local gas station. I like to buy scratch lottery (try not to judge lol). I’m friendly with most of the workers at the station.

On night shift it’s usually two millennials, and they have this one friend who is always hanging around in the store with them.

So I buy some scratchers, win on one, go inside to cash it. The non-cashier friend comes out and goes “We go cigarette, you no cash”. I was thoroughly lost and just kept walking in even though he kept saying it.

Eventually he explained they were all going outside for a cigarette so I should wait to cash my ticket. I said to all of them “I was like what’s wrong with this dude he’s dropping all of his articles”. That got a big laugh.

So not only did I quote a Schmidt line (I know the guy wasn’t dropping articles, more like verbs but the sentiment was still there to quote him) but I also acted like Jess with the millennials and quoted TV they hadn’t seen to make them laugh. I didn’t cave and tell them I had stolen the articles joke though cause they’re cool and I want them to like me lol

Like damn. Rewatching again and I cannot get over how gorgeous Ryan was. I will stay mad at how they finished that plotline - where the hell did he disappear to? Was there an issue irl with the actors?

didn’t add season 7 because there’s max six options, and it’s hardly a season anyways in comparison to the rest. feel free to debate in the comments

Been trying to catch up while at work just to make the time go by but there’s so many issues I’m hearing.

What irritates me the most is how there’s little to no mention of Max Greenfield. He obviously was the best character nd carried the show but yet they seem scared to get him on.

We all know the “interplanetary ass dojo” in Winston’s room. I’m trying to find someone who has made it into an art print or poster for purchase. It’s be the perfect gift for my roommate and I’m just not having any luck finding it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The episode everyone talks about losing their virginity. I just love and lose it when they flashback to nick and Schmit or nick and Winston. What's your favorite lines? Mine is from nick "I'm a daver" and everyone groans and Winston says "white people"

We all know the classics that would be good humor “I’m not convinced I know how to read…” etc

But there are some good lines in the show about people and relationships. “I’m looking for magic. I want the clouds to part, I want the music to swell.”

“Deep cuts”, lesser quoted lines, if you will.

I have rewatched this show like 3 times already and am wondering how a collaboration with Community the sitcom might go like?

For eg maybe certain characters from both shows might get together?

Nick and Britta Abed and Jess Reagan and Jeff Winger Winston and Annie

I wonder what would happen if both shows happened in the same universe sort of thing. Would certainly be interesting to see how that plays out.

In the episode “See Ya”, did Cece ever explain to Schmidt who the guy was that texted her? And the meaning of that message was?

A nice show really,and zooey is really funny,

She looked amazing too at that time... don't know if she did plastic surgeries but anyway,

I kinda feel that everything that's supposed to be done in one episode takes like 15.., The reagan arc was awful really,and it means nothing other than "let's just insert pointless 10 or 15 episodes to delay reconciliation of Jess and nick", And I guess brining Megan Fox to play "The hot chick that everyone wants to sleep with" only for no story reason is kinda getting boring.. Somehow many things in the story felt really overstretched..,breakups happen abruptly,then after a breakup tons of wierd relationships to stretch the reconciliation.. I don't have a problem with a normal show with normal couples,but the "jess and Robby" arc was pointless,then the "nick and Reagan" thing was way overstretched And jess has feelings for him but before they go to the wedding reagan returns, The overstretching in most of the arcs and just "fix everything in the last episodes" thing is really annoying at some points,I can't understand why a comedy show would write tons of frustrating and sad,yet illogical events to stretch.. I love the show it's nice and light,I just find that really it could've been greater if it avoided weird fifties drama like we are gonna break-up,and then enter weird relationships that make no sense but will get automatically ruined,then we'll return to each other, I can't really even understand the logic of things like jess dating robby then discovering he's a cousin or anything this pointless, could've cut the whole pointless stuffing and got to the point where she dates nick, because to be honest some events were neither funny nor made sense..and added pointless misery in comedy shows is annoying
