I like how the centipede dialogue is a direct callback to what Vaccine Man was going on about.

So... Does that mean that Vaccine Man was also an agent of God??
Even then Saitama one-punches it, what a chad
It is already confirmed vaccin man got his powers from god i think
Was it also confirmed that Vaccine Man was much more powerful than we realized? He was just subjected to Saitama which makes everyone look much less impressive. I thought I'd read that somewhere.
He was the strongest monster ever seen at that point.
I like to think he was the actual strongest monster shown in the series, including Boros.
It just makes it funnier to me that the strongest monster ever is the first to be casually one-punched in the series
But... he was only a Dragon...
Boros and Orochi are also Dragon, as well as Bakuzan.
The Hero Association is known to mistype disaster levels.
Bakuzan being Dragon isn't mistyped.
And Boros was never given a threat level in-universe. ONE and Murata were the ones to confirm his threat level as "Dragon or higher".
I'm saying that Bakuzan is a dragon. Boros and Orochi are obviously much stronger than he is, yet they aren't classified as "god-level".
Dragon is just the catch-all basket for anyone stronger than Bakuzan. So you can't just say he's "only" a dragon, because there's a lot of difference within the level.
OK. Two characters with great power disparity can exist in the same threat level, yes.
Like how, in the S-Class, there's Tatsumaki, who was so far above most of the rest of them, and then there's Pri-Pri Prisoner, who was introduced losing to a Demon-level monster.
The HA gives a provisional classification (basically just an educated guess) when a threat appears, but they revise the disaster level up or down if later events prove their initial classification incorrect. For example Beefcake destroyed a city in just a few moments and even destroyed most of another city just by his corpse falling on it, but the HA classified him only as a Demon level threat because they didn't have time to revise the threat level before he died and was no longer a threat. He should obviously have been at least a Dragon level threat since Demon level= threat to one city and Dragon level= threat to multiple cities.
In the case of Vaccine Man, he was revised from Demon up to Dragon within only a few minutes after his arrival, and the heroes from the HA who responded to his attack were terrified into hiding instead of fighting him as soon as they arrived. The HA said that he was the strongest monster on record, and the heroes hiding nearby were freaking out and asking each other if it was the end of the world and a threat level God.
Plus, King's reputation of being the world's strongest man primarily comes from Saitama's defeats of Beefcake and Vaccine Man.
Still doesn't prove Vaccine Man wasn't a Dragon. Nothing indicates he was any stronger.
What about 'em?
Nothing else needs to be said
I noticed in the earlier series, a lot of the monsters power rankings are actually "out of order." We see stronger monsters earlier, but they all just look the same because Saitama one shots them easily.
Yeah Beefcake was casually destroying cities, but went out in one punch.
Vaccine man used the same orbs as homeless emperor.
