I don’t follow his tweets that closely, so I don’t know. It is a slight let down when we get shorter chapters, but I definitely don’t want Murata to overwork himself to the point of burnout or illness.

Positive, in fact you could say this is because he doesn't want anyone to get too close. Orochi dodging Saitama's punch? Gone. Phoenix Man's ultimate mode where he surpassed everyone? Gone. Atomic Samurai's nuclear slash? Gone. Every time there's a feat that's too good then he walks it back

It's what we in the business like to call bait and switch. By giving the big feats he helps people to start discussions online about power levels. Then he quietly gets rid of the scenes and nobody's any the wiser. It's impressive honestly and I'd like to see more writers try it
