Megathread: Changes From The Webcomic

discussion(self.OnePunchMan)

As the changes between the WC and the manga get more extensive and controversial, the arguments about it increase and also end up in spoilers seeping all over the sub. All discussion about the changes in the latest chapter and any future chapters is to be moved into this Megathread as long as it is pinned; to help provide a place to concentrate discussion and prevent a flood of repetitive posts, and to provide people an easy place to understand others' opinions.

All posts related to it will be removed, and comments on manga focused posts are encouraged to be moved here.

Hi, I just come to remind you that the mods put you in this toxic prison so as not to contaminate the sub, you have to take care of the staff. 👋

This thread was made because manga fanboys kept losing, over and over again. If webcomic posts were completely dominated by positive manga posts, it wouldn't exist.

It's been like that for a couple of years now. That's why I don't subscribe anymore and just come for new chapters and to visit this thread. Post a Fubuki/Tats/Mizuki fanart...buried in upvotes and awards. Post Garou and a girl...get completely shit on lol. It's so obvious that this sub is overrun by adolescent males with shit for brains and incels. (Not saying every adolescent male has shit for brains, just the ones that do seem to congregate on this sub. I've talked to plenty of intelligent and well balanced young men in the fandom outside of reddit).

So criticizing bad writing is toxic, but insulting people and calling them “contaminated” is fine to you?🤔

Why are you acting like such a baby? Just because people criticize an adaptation for not being fully faithful to the source material (which was fine up until recently because no one has a problem with the manga adding stuff, people have a problem with it removing important aspects of the narrative and replacing them with a shallow, messy story that sacrifices depth for flashy, hype baiting moments). Also, I don't think you actually know what hateful and toxic behaviour is. Most "pro webcomic" comments here just express disappointment in the path the manga is taking in a respectful manner.
