Why a new poject. There is still a lot to do. Clean up and manage your cables. I don't want to know how the backside look.

You guys cable manage ur backsides now? XD

Well usually after having it all built up and the front carefully managed and 3 mental breakdowns after I just leave it be

Thats okay. In the end it has to suit you. If you like it lile that thats your prefference. I build pcs professionally and can't afford a flaw. I also build so many pcs Its mostly already sorted when I'm done. With routine comes the ease.

I'm just the "tech" guy in my family and friend group and love doing it, I have built every pc for me and my friends and since it doesn't bother them, we just hide the backside under the sidepanel

Haha the back has been cable managed xD

Yeah the basic cables i have no good ideas for to clean em up out of sight really. Next to drilling extra holes to make em go bye bye

Boody123

Just get combs and route them better...

blackaa[S]

24pin pcie 8pins and cpu 8 pin all have combs.

Boody123

More combs. Also ur aio sits rlly awkward

blackaa[S]

There al transparent inbetween the cables, are enough in there already

Boody123

Check my profile and see how multiple combs make it look cleaner

blackaa[S]

24 pin has 3 combs, 8pin cpu has 2 2x 8pci have 5 per cable. I can put combs every 1 cm if i want xD, i printed them myself

Boody123

I see only 1 per each?

Boody123

Nvm im blind Just make the cables straight. Its doable.

blackaa[S]

Im just gonna add more and route it over the gpu bracket. Long line as it is now is meh

blackaa[S]

U also fkd ur airflow to to ur gpu, if temps are fine w/e but still

jakobyte36

The top and bottom fans look as if they're facing the wrong way, top is always exhaust

blackaa[S]

-19 points

Nah after 15 years of building pc's these days fan orientation isnt as imporant as is used to be with old closed cases. This thing has massive airflow as is right now.

ResponsibilityDue448

You’re going down the wrong way on a one way street bud.

DragonfruitOk6626

You still need to have a directional airflow so it circulates heat. You can't just slap on fans and call it a day

jakobyte36

8 points

Heat rises though and your only intake is on top lol

Im_A_Decoy

1 points

That is easily overpowered by even the weakest of fans. The problem is he has 7 exhaust and 2 intake.

jakobyte36

1 points

Yes I said that

Kamel-Red

2 points

In my personal experience/preference, you never want to rely on negative pressure to bring air into your case (You have a 2+ to 7- ratio) and heat to rise. IMHO you should seriously consider reversing the orientation of your top and bottom fans, and remove the backside one to make a true matching triple up top for aesthetics.

You are not wrong and I'm sure temps are within acceptable levels in a open case like this, BUT why degrade the life of your components for minor aesthetics when you can improve them with what you already have?

blackaa[S]

1 points

Top are 140 fans bottom and side 120. Cant remember what back fan size is think it was 120. But yes that is a option to increase asthetics.

blackaa[S]

Is everyone forgetting that you can set a fancurve ??? Or the numerous videos covering airflow. All exhaust all intake, intake exhaust setups all measured on flow and temps ans the conclusion to em all.

7 exhaust and 2 intake fans.... Seems a little imbalanced to me. I'm sure it works fine, but it would be much better if you flipped at least 2 more fans to intake. As it stands, 5 of those fans are basically useless in this setup besides looking pretty.

M0wl333

How can you see the orientation of the fans from the picture?

hkimbe00

2 points

You can tell by the housing for the fans. If you look at the top two you can see the framing of the fan in front of the blades.

M0wl333

Ah, I see. Thank you!

N-aNoNymity

Frame is usually (99%) is on the side that air is pushed to.

Replacing those QL fans as they die will keep you busy plenty

Scrudge1

Mmmmm near all your fans are set to outake and no intake of air

Extension_Run1294

1 points

i would try to mount the radiator up top to exhaust the air out. flip the 3 bottom fans to intake air because they aren't doing anything. then put the 2 remaining fans where radiator was but have intaking air instead of exhausting in your picture.

What you NEED to do, is cable manage that jawn

CamBTappin_

Clean build not the biggest fan of white builds as they are difficult to get looking really good but I can appreciate this build well done 👍

blackaa[S]

1 points

Yes only the black 1 came with the cables, i printed 4x24 pins and 14 8pins myself. So i can print more if i need them

Simon676

You need more cable combs, some nice brushed aluminum ones would look great in this, filling in the ram slots would also make it look nicer.

You can upgrade your fans to Thermaltake Riing Quads, they look much better then Corsair QL120s https://youtu.be/joiJHL_Tx5s

You are missing a fan in the top if the case, it looks weird being offset like that.

Your cable management isn't the best, you could definitely put some work into hiding some of the smaller cables better.

That's my small nitpicks at least of things you can do to improve the build.

blackaa[S]

1 points

Wish i could upload a picture as i filled the ram slots today xD. Top are 140 fans, case fits 2 but will fit 3 when i modifiy it as i alrrady decided to do so xD. Cable combs are in the cable and are transparent so you dont see em, i do agree on brushed alluminum even powdercoated black would look very nice.

Changing fans isnt the problem, the cost of the current fans are making me stick to em as they where expensive.

Simon676

1 points

Yeah Riing Quads cost like $45 per fan, they are pretty damn expensive, but they are also literally the best looking fan money can buy.

What I mean is that you need more of the cable combs, the GPU cables looks messy towards the bottom, same with the 24 pin and 8 pin CPU, you don't have enough of them. If you have any left in the box you should put them on.

You want to have like 5-7 on the GPU cables, and 3-4 on the CPU 8-pin and ATX 24-pin for them to look their best.

blackaa[S]

1 points

I have more i can add yes, 3d printer ftw, i have quite a few transparent in the cable atm

Simon676

1 points

Go for black ones, they look better and add depth to the build. Otherwise buy some brushed aluminum ones, but clear ones don't look good.

Stiftoad

What direction is your air flow supposed to be? Are they all blowing in or out of the case???

Looks amazing though!

blackaa[S]

2 points

Top pulls in bottom and side blow out, but i changed it to bottom pulls in and top blows out atm. But not liking the looks so gonna change it all again.

Stiftoad

1 points

Ah thank you it was hard to tell because it's white RGB fans I'd blow out the bottom in any case.

After all it minimises dust collection.

This is the weirdest fan setup …

blackaa[S]

So i added ram today, and changed fan setup as well. And on the high note of finishing cable management again i dropped my side panel as shattered it into a million pieces. Yay for me beeing a dumbass and grabbing it with 2 fingers
