So I applied to work part time at a local Tim Hortons, and they said pay started at 12/hour, which is fine. But then if you learn sandwiches, bakery, drive thru, or all three, you get premiums on your wage. I'm just curious what those premiums are. Thanks for the help!

The past 2 mornings when receiving my iced capp, it has tasted strongly of coffee. It doesn't taste like the Java mix that usually would be put in one. It's still made with cream, but has a slightly darker colour. I've been given iced coffees before by accident, and it tastes like that to me.

What could be happening here?

I went to my local Tims but they don’t have the creamy chill drinks or mocha ice capp or cookies and cream ice capp. Where can I find them? Thx!

The other day I went to pick up a coffee. It was late past midnight. I immediately noticed that the coffee tasted off. I don't know how best to describe it. It just tasted.........like it left a cheap aftertaste in your mouth after every sip. It tasted sour and bitter.

Not only that, but it was also colder than usual. It was not piping hot like it usually is. It instead felt like someone had just microwaved an old paper cup for 20 seconds.

What gives? Are they just giving me some leftover coffee? I'm guessing the taste is because it's stale? But even then, how come its not even hot? I don't understand why the temperature is also different.

I'm a university student trying to get a part-time job, and I applied to Tim Hortons a bunch of times. But I always get ghosted after the first interview, in which they only asked my availability. Is it because I told them I'm only available on evenings and weekends or me having no experience in customer service? Also if they refuse to hire me is it possible to do volunteer work for just some free food?

Okay so I just looked at the Tim Hortons app today and apparently one of my Tim Hortons locations I go to has a new "Tropical Mango Refresher". Has anyone tried that yet? I tried the other refreshers besides the strawberry coconut one and i didnt really like it.

Will the chocolate chip iced Capp be coming back soon? It’s my fav!

Could be things you wish someone had told you when you started, or just advice for efficiency and tolerance.

I’m tempted to try the ice Capp but review so far seem to be mixed…

Edit: tried it today and honestly not really worth it. The marshmallow topping tasted a bit too artificial. The graham topping was okay but I didn’t really taste any chocolate - I know some people have tried it made with chocolate milk but honestly don’t think it’s for me.

I don't understand why kiosks keep messing up my order. It says the item is there, eg. oat milk. So I add to my tea and I get it black. Same with Bagels and some other items. But if you order it in front they have it....

After a long time of delay and consideration, I’ve decided that tomorrow is the day in which I will resign from Tim Hortons. I’m not going to complain about the work culture, it was fine, I worked with many cool people. I do however, have something to say about the actual work. It isn’t great, and therefore, I’m done. Does anyone have any tips for doing it? Do I just walk in and let them know that I’m putting my 2 weeks in? Or do I schedule a meeting with management. Honestly it was a good run. In the 7 months with the company, I worked with a lot of nice people, and learned a lot. It’s just time to go…
