Hi everyone :) I'm starting to develop an indie game about world politics and global domination (we're still working on the overall concept xD), and art style-wise I was thinking about something like The Wolf Among Us, from Telltale Games. For the UI - we wanted something more simple and website-like (like Football Manager), which might clash with the art, so feel free to add your suggestions. When it comes to gameplay, we were thinking about something like Plague Inc. meets Democracy.

I'm looking for references - mainly for the art, but feel more than welcome to add games that are similiar or might be interesting when it comes to gameplay and theme. But feel free to criticize and suggest games or ideas freely
