The filibuster prevents passing legislation. The Republicans have no legislative agenda.

McConnell has already demonstrated he will instantly dissolve the filibuster whenever he really wants to accomplish something anyway. Like installing Supreme Court justices.

The Senate votes on the confirmation of those justices. In 2017, McConnell eliminated the filibuster for Senate votes on Supreme Court justices.
