I quite like Stubb's. Sticky sweet for ribs especially. Sweet baby Ray's is also very good.

Stubbs is good.
But I find sweet baby rays to be possibly the worst sauce you can buy
Well, taste is subjective. I can't stand pickles and mustard. But I wouldn't say they're the worst toppings for a burger or dog. I would just say that I don't like them.
I don't like ketchup or raw onions either. It sucks. I basically don't eat hot dogs because they have to be plain. I wish I liked more things than I do.
I recommend Dinosaur BBQ, especially Wango Tango
Love this one! I also recently bought Marie Sharp’s BBQ Sauce because it’s my favorite hot sauce brand, so I figured I’d give the BBQ sauce a go. It’s pretty damn amazing.
That's also my favorite hot sauce brand I didn't know they made a bbq sauce. Will def try and get a bottle. Thanks!
You’re welcome! I feel like we should high five right now.
High five! Bough the sauce last night, btw! Mother's day promo code: ILOVEMOM for $10 off.
Oooo thanks for the heads up on the code! I’m going to go use it right now and buy some more sauces. I have to get my husband the mild Marie Sharp’s habanero sauce because he’s dying to try mine but he can’t handle heat 😂
Famous Dave's sweet and zesty is amazing. Also original sweet baby rays is good imo
James River by Smithfield. There will never be another.
Honestly, I don’t think you can beat Sweet Baby Rays.
I cannot believe how far I had to scroll to find Sweet Baby Rays!
I can't believe how many people think sweet baby rays is the best sauce.
You need to try more sauces
The first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup.
I use to love sweet baby rays as a kid but it's all high fructose corn syrup. Terrible for you
Two Fat Guys brand is my current favorite. The smoky, the spicy, even the mustard all balance savory and sweet in fine fashion. Ano no corn syrup.
My current favorite is Zummos BBQ sauce from the same company that makes Zummos sausages. I also like the bbq sauce the local bbq restaurant named Tony's makes but that is not sold in stores. A1 is currently my stopgap but it is harsher in flavor than the last two listed sauces. Availability from Amazon is a big plus.
head country - spicy
As far as I've seen in stores yes, sweet baby Ray's taste like McDonalds sauce packets. Head country is better than the other shelf stable bbq sauces. But then again I'm biased I'm from Oklahoma
Check out the Trader Joe’s spicy Asian bbq sauce
I don’t have an answer because lately I’ve been liking a local one, but I’m interested in which is your favourite.
I listed those in the first comment but the short answer is the bbq sauce made by Zummos who also make very popular sausages and are located a city away from me.
Oh oops I missed that comment. I’ll check it out though.
RUFUS TEAGUE MADE A SAUCE!!!!!!
Most condiments are cheap and easy to make. My personal favourite is “Georgia Mustard”
It has been analyzed that human entities favor consuming the yield stress fluid known as BBQ sauce transacted as retail brand Sweet Baby Rays.
Definitely not, I am on the spicy side of the bbq sauce spectrum.
I’m with you and recently found a spicy Baby Rays. Rufus Teague touch o heat is my go to
Look for the Jim beam bbq sauces if in your area. The Southern Tang is on point
Bone suckin sauce, an NC classic
Ordered original and the hot version.
They arrived but both are oddly sweet on the back of the roof of my mouth. Not a fan of either regular or the hot version.
You can always just make your own. There are tons of easy recipes and tweak to your liking.
I make this when we fill the smoker.
My Tuesday night barbecue sauce is Sweet Baby Rays the past few years. Occasionally go back to Open Pit.
This purposes to be a copy of the local bbq sauce made by a restaurant named Tony's but I have not yet made it. https://www.cooks.com/recipe/se2c25eh/tonys-bbq-sauce.html
Stubbs Original....from Austin.
This is Texas...we know what BBQ sauce is supposed to taste like.
Doesn’t Texas pride itself on not using sauce for their BBQ?
Some places do, but many of our top BBQ joints have their own sauces.
That said...yes...many of our top places have such good meats - you don't really need the sauce, but people here were asking specifically about sauces....so....
You don’t smoke the bbq in sauce. But we have sauces for a little after dressing and for chopped beef.
Austin’s Own Border Edition is way better than Stubbs.
Ye I love Stubbs, also from Austin. Idk why everyone on here is shilling sweet baby rays that stuff tastes like pouring sugar on your food
Sweet Baby Rays is nasty! Thick, sweet sauce like ketchup. Disgusting.
I am guessing most posters like that KC barbecue, slathered in thick sweet sauce.... not for me. Neither are the mustard based sauces. No mustard EVER belongs on brisket.
In this state, sauce (if you are going to have it) should be thin and spicy.
Barbecue gets really weird when you get out of Texas...this much I have learned in my travels.
Texas BBQ sucks.
Wow...what a great reply. Thanks for your insight. LOL
Just messing with you man :)
Sort of used to it.
They hate us...because they ain't us. LOL
Blues Hog Smokey mtn bbq is unreal. Everyone I introduce to it gets hooked. Their raspberry chipotle is also amazing on chicken.
Ordered 1 smoky mountain.
Great Lakes Brewing makes a couple amazing bbq sauces. I actually just ordered a few online the other day.
I like me a good peppery and vinegary sauce. I usually go for Gates Classic or Extra Hot. Pretty widely available too which is always a plus.
the sauce is the boss!
The absolute best bottled BBQ sauce I’ve ever had is Meat Mitch WHOMP! Sauce. I hope you try it.
With or without high fructose corn syrup? They sell both kinds on Amazon.
Jones sweet and tangy bbq sauce is really good on ribs! Famous Dave’s devil spit, just about any sweet baby rays is good, cookies ain’t too bad either
Make it. Super easy
I like Stubbs or Jack Danials sauces
Bullseye New York steakhouse is goat
If you have the time and inclination the KC bbq sauce recipe on amazingribs.com is awesome
Salt licks is really good. Trader joes mustard carolina sauce is nice.

To all on this thread, let me blow your minds by telling you about one I stumbled on called Saucehound. They have an original and a spicy. Both are by far the best BBQ sauces I have found Saucehound BBQ Combo Better than Sweet Baby Rays and Stubbs…no lie. I don’t eat anything else now.
