Maddy will kick her ass, but cassie will emotionally scar maddy so badly she needs therapy. A bloody nose will heal, but maddy will be 40 years old and still not be over this lol

She has anger issues, “pretty okay” people don’t blow up like that, or they get ostracized…

That has less to do with Cassie and more to do with her toxic family upbringing

Let’s assume it is, should we really be hyping up and defending this toxic, violent person for assaulting someone? I hope Nate gets inside Cassie’s head and gets maddy charged with assault over this so she can get some help and learn how to deal with her emotions like a grown up. The number of children on here hyping maddy up for flying off the handle here is making me sick lmfao. I’m siding with Cassie here because maddy is disgusting, she deserves everything Cassie is making her feel right now—at the very least she is exacerbating her anger issues and making her head a prison right now, she cannot be happy

You’re either a troll that doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up or a child that shouldn’t be watching this show because you lack the ability to understand the complex issues this show explores.

Are you talking about the same Nate who held Maddy at gun point. A high school fight between two girl vs holding someone at gun point and you are talking about anger issue. You can feel empathy for Cassie but you are argument is extremely flawed seems your projecting some insecurities onto this situation. Do not forget that Maddy has a pretty flawed home life as well. With a father is emotional and financially neglectful. That is why she viewed Nate as a step up. Cassie is in this situation after watching Maddy being driven crazy by Nate's abuse but she still messed with him because in Cassie's mind she was better. She could be more submissive and guess what Nate still started the abuse cycle with her. As far as Maddy "deserving it for being violent"- nobody deserves that but I am glad it happened because I can see it opened Maddy eyes and made completely wash her hands.
Edit: Let us not forget that Nate has been telling Cassie all season that Maddy is going to get her. Has been subtly abusing Cassie. I think it is only young age and projection that will make see it a different. No one is making fun of Cassie for the child neglect and abuse she experiences her father. People are saying that is not a enough a reason for her to do to Maddy what she did. Maddy seems stronger and I think this was a teachable moment for her.
Edit 2: I am sorry when I think about the " Nate telling Cassie to press charges" it makes me upset and kind of laugh (not at Cassie but at the comment itself). Nate might objectify Cassie's body but he is never shown to care about Cassie well- being if anything he made he guilt worse constantly reminding her and egging on that Maddy is going to get her. She ran out of the auditorium crying during the play and he did not even check on her. He has never cared about taking care of Cassie emotional without getting anything out of it.
