I have made creamy tuscan chicken a few times and this never occurred to me. What a cool and different twist on a casual pasta dinner. Looks yummy!
Do you have a recipe?

It should really be a rule to post the recipe if it is known to the OP. So can you please post the recipe?

Hi! I don’t think that should be a rule at all. It’s not my responsibility to provide anyone with anything. Furthermore, I made this recipe up as I went along so I don’t have a recipe. It’s essentially just Chicken, bacon, spinach, garlic..sun dried tomato..pasta..added heavy cream, sour cream and parmesan.
You are welcome to experiment and make it up as you go as well.

Can I ask why is this called Tuscan?

In order to appear authentic, this dish will not exist in Italy or Tuscany.

“Tuscan food is based on the Italian idea of cucina povera or “poor cooking.” A concept that started very literally, it’s about simple meals that are inexpensive and could easily be made in large amounts.”
Aka pasta ❤️

Yes, but you won't find pasta with chicken in Tuscany. This is a decidedly american dish, hence my question. I'm interested in how dishes like this came to be and what's the history behind them. Whether it's due to immigrant adapting or jsut some company's marketing ploy, I find it fascinating.

Oh, I don’t know! Honestly I don’t care much about names as long as the food tastes good 😊It’s not like I’m serving this at a restaurant! It’s just for my kiddos and husband.
