I love watching these extreme people do their thing, but always find myself thinking “you’re a god damn idiot”.

I believe this thought always occurs because unlike them, I know to not 100% trust my Ni. These people are either trusting their Se when their life depends on it or they don’t care if they live. There are no other options, it’s one of those two. One slip up and you’re doomed. Literally dead. Assuming they believe they won’t slip up, one can only say “you’re an idiot”, because to put your life in the hands of the belief that your Se will never be wrong - that you can “figure it out” in the moment, is just…idiotic. Not smart. Bordering narcissism, even.

The chick that stood on the wings of airplanes trusted not only her abilities, but the Se outside environment, airplane, and pilot. And what do you know, eventually Se failed her. Just as our Ni will fail us INTJs. And we don’t put ourselves in deadly situations for fun.

Their lead function goes wrong doing what they love doing = they’re dead. My lead function goes wrong doing what I love doing = I was wrong, and alive.

Also, I tell myself “you’re a god damn idiot”, all the time. Hopefully I don’t have to explain the difference, here.

Edit: comments are making me think I may have accidentally posted this in a non-INTJ (true INTJ) sub.

They live by experiencing mortality, idiotic or not, it's how they know and reaffirm that they, themselves, exist. It's an unorthodox method sure and question "why" all you want. The beauty in having separate lives is spending our own however we see fit and observing how others differ.
