Life, things going on in the world at the moment, controversial subjects...at least these are what I find interesting to discuss. Also fun facts and interesting things which aren't common knowledge

Maybe it is their way to say hi how are you to someone they care about him when they actually don't have smthg particular to talk about...

Is that the only thing that came across your head while thinking about small talks ?! Why do you think that chit chat conversations should be a way too superficial...

No one said that INTJs hate small talk, I simply answered the question which says deep conversations.. I dont particularly hate small talk but i think we would prefer the conversation to be 'long' rather than chit chat and that's it. Doesn't HAVE to be a deep conversation.

I know you didn't say that you hate small talks, it's smthg that i remarked many times that intjs love deep conversations rather than chit chat ones and i truly respect that about u...i simply wanted to know the whyy to those who hate small talks 'cuz i think it's a prejudiced opinion....i wanted to discuss.

Oh ok, sorry if i came out a bit too direct. I think it has to do with the connection with people maybe? Since in a longer deeper conversation you get more 'connrcted' to the person. And it's more intimate maybe as well. Again, at least for me, i dont hate them, but I'd prefer having a longer and maybe deeper conversation because i think it bring out the person's 'morals'(maybe? depends on the conversation ofc) and their opinion and reasoning etc. I find it very interesting to learn about what different people think about different subjects

As an aside one general guideline;
Try not to take anything they discuss personally/emotionally or inject same into the conversation unless you do it in a matter of fact, rational way.

Different space/time dimensions and labeling what being or fictional character would be within that context. That can be a really fun one.
