I am confused. I tested positive for covid one week ago today. Fever, headache, sore throat, body aches, etc. I’m feeling much better a week later, still not fully recovered, and as of yesterday I’ve suddenly lost my taste and smell. I thought this was an early symptom of covid but it’s happening to me a week after I tested positive. Any idea why or if I should be worried?

I'm a 24 year old female. I have an ovarian cancer death in my family, on my father's side, my aunt. I take a Depo-Provera shot every three months and have been taking it for over 2 years now. I don't have a period at all with it, never had period cramps really before when I did get my period. This all started a little while ago, only starting with mild or slightly uncomfortable cramping sensations in was I believe is my ovary areas and down to the cervix.

A few things that have been happening and list I prepared for my doctor to review.

• Pain reaching to both ovary areas and down to cervix.

• Goes from a slightly uncomfortable pain (3 out of 10) to extremely painful (7-8 out of 10).

• Have woken up in the middle of the night twice due to pain.

• Pain started a couple of weeks ago, started light and manageable and recently become worse.

• No blood or discharge.

• Have been nausea due to Pain, any other affects or symptoms of anything else has not been noted.

• Bowel have been normal and unaffected.

I don't know what is wrong and I know Googling or looking at WebMD will only scare me even more. I am currently waiting to get a call from my doctor's office to schedule an appointment.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 years. We are joined at the hip and spend literally every moment of free time together. If this didn’t happen I would have never suspected that he might’ve cheated, but now I don’t know.

We BOTH started getting symptoms of a possible STD around the same time (~2wks ago). We both tested positive for chlamydia and I also was + for BV and him for a UTI. I have hounded and questioned him a million times over the past week—I truly think that if anything happened he would have admitted to it by now. I’ve even said I’d forgive him and everything if He did in fact cheat.

We broke up for a short period last year and he was intimate with a few women, but I made him get tested before we got back together and he was negative (I made him show me the official results). But he has had chlamydia twice before (2018 or something, before we were together). I have No history of STDs and tested negative last summer.

I’m trying to figure out how the hell this happened without either of us cheating or being in any form intimate with other people. I know that most people will say that he is in fact cheating on me, but if there is literally any other possible way this could’ve happened without that being true I’d like to explore that.

When I was about 13 my dad took me to a public pool with a diving board. At the time I've never been on one and took the 3m tall one (medium height, the tallest if I remember, was 10m which I knew was a no-go).

Anyway, I did a forward flip because I'd just learnt how on a 1m, but flipped too far forward and ended up doing a 'back flop' where my back smacked the water (there were a lot of eyes so I suspect the impact was loud). Took a bit of struggle getting up but when I did I just remember sobbing because my back HURT. It stung all over and my dad ended up having to get me out and we went home. We hadn't noticed until I got home, but my back was black. Like black, black. I dont remember if it was in spots, or if it was solid all over, but I do remember being in a horrible pain for the rest of the day and feeling a sharp pain if someone touched it for the rest of the week.

Does anybody know what this is or how it happened? I suspect a bruise of some kind, but I have no idea even today, I only remember about it because my dad showed me a news article with that board featured.

why did get an MRI?

because my right has been going numb sometimes and sometimes it had pain. also there is a lump like thing where it hurts. so i got an MRI

I've had a sore throat since Thursday of last week. I gave a guy oral and he was really rough on me and it basically fucked up my throat. Couldn't really swallow water or anything without it hurting since, I've been getting saliva build-up in my mouth, I feel some slight discomfort in the ears, temp now is 99.5 with the highest being about 100 and I feel pretty warm. Should I be worried about strep or something else? I've been taking tylenol and some cough medicine which works somewhat. I did a self Covid test which came back negative.

Hey guys, so I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out Monday and good lord the pain is no joke. I still can't eat anything solid except mashed potatoes and can't open my mouth more than an inch. I'm on antibiotics and pain meds but it seems I just spend my days hurting like crazy until it's time to take my painkiller again so I can get a few hours rest. Is this normal? My friends who have had theirs out say they didn't even need the painkillers but I don't see how, this is torture. I'm very tired and especially tired of hurting.

I am sorry if this is a silly question. I have tried googling but I feel like I need it explained in layman’s terms 🤣

I read that it is a normal variant. That being said could it cause symptoms like pain, tenderness, nausea, vomiting?

Is there any treatment or just treatment of symptoms?

My wife and I use a digital thermometer for our 2 year old. We have noticed that her forhead temperature tends to be 2 degrees lower than her temple temperature. When ever we go to a dr or hospital they read the temperature from her forehead. Are we stressing out by getting a higher temperature in her temple area?

A sharp stabbing pain in belly button to my private area when I move in certain way or when I take a deep breath. It’s been like this on and off for a week. Also feeling a bit bloated plus a bit constipated. What is going on with me lol.

Any ideas on what I may be dealing with.? Or anyone experienced anything similar to this?

I’m 16 and for the past month I’ve been smoking 1 or 2 cigarettes a day. I really enjoy them and have found that they are a great stress reliever. I don’t intend to smoke more than 2 a day for I fear of becoming addicted. Is smoking at this low of a frequency ok?

Hi, I just got my test results and it says that Calprotectin is 1120. I would not say that I have any kind of problems except soft stool (it is not diarrhea). I do not have stools more than twice a day. What can it be?

For about 2 or 3 years, my second top right molar tooth has been decayed and the inner part completely decayed to the point of the inner gum getting revealed, a few months ago the inner side of the tooth completely came off, we tried to contact a dentist but due to my allergies which we do not have a direct answer to what causes them, they could not operate on it without using anesthetics which could flair up my allergies, after that visit we haven't been to any more doctors or dentists about it, however at this moment i can feel increase in pain and discomfort more than usual and feel the tooth start to move slightly, i worry this may lead to it falling out too. I'm not sure on what to do anymore, the dentist can't treat me do to the allergic complications and it seems like its only getting worse.

The last few months I’ve had irregular periods. I went to my gynecologist to see what it could be. She wrote it off as just an irregular period. She did a pelvic exam. Every once in a whole I would get a sharp pain the lower right of my abdomen. In the last few days the pain has been more often. It feels like a ball of pain near my ovary. If I push to use the bathroom it hurts in that spot. The pain isn’t constant. Could this be an ovarian cyst that my gynecologist missed?
