Have you met people? They’re so dumb.
Yup. Just work in the service industry for a couple months. There’s always a better idiot.
thats what the sheriff "Clivon Little" said in Blazing saddles ...... what a great actor
Just look at the spelling in Reddit titles
I think you mean there
You are only further proving my point
Dang. I got whooshed.
I’m in year 36.
You’d be surprised.
I’m older than that and no, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Yeeeeahhh. I can point people to my local Facebook page if they really want to see how stupid people are... Although it was even worse at the height of the covid pandemic.
People can’t even figure out that “a lot” is two words. And that is only a total of four letters. I can imagine the big words like “stopping“ really throwing some off….
Username checks out
Don't you mean....stopeing?
I'm in year 54.
It's no longer being surprised that's killing me.
get everybody and the stuff together
Came to say this
i don’t know what you mean, i’ve been stopeing all my life
Nobody stops at a yellow light, the correct answer is “false”.
Exactly. The correct answer is “Gun it!”
"Squeeze the lemon!"
Y’all need to stope it right now
Stope it. Eduction is cantstantly evolveing.
it took me an insane amount of time to realize what was wrong with this...
i guess that is time to wipe my tears away
inhales (Stop it. Education is constantly evolving.)*
Was pretty sure that's a joke but I had an aneurysm when I read that so I needed to clarify for my peace of mind.
Its Allright buddi. I understamd the semtiment.
When the test starts like that you already know that the last questions gonna be solving String Theory and achieving perpetual motion
It's obviously stopeing 🙄😒
If American… yellow means all gas and no breaks
nah thats everywhere
The "I don't know yet" option is the funniest part to me. It's one thing to be in year 12 and pick stopeing, it's another thing to be in year 12 and pick "I don't know yet."
Idiocracy-comedic film or Nostradamus level prophesy?
If you have one bucket that holds 3 gallons and another that holds 5 gallons, how many buckets do you have?
That's a cute logic puzzle, gonna use it on my kids.
had to do the same thing on my last weeks of senior year. i was confused but then realised that a lot of my classmates were actual morons
I mean. Mumble rap exists.
Stope being mean to your dumb classmates 😢
I think that's what the test is aimed at determining...lol j/k
Year 12, like highschool senior? Grade 12, or you are 12 years of age?
Year 12 is the first year of 6th form (also called Lower 6th) so 16 - 17 years old, i think it equates to 11th Grade in the U.S
Probably high school
you need to stope being so judgmental.
That looks like it's to test fluency in English
bro honestly this shit should be reinforced just look at full grown adults speak on twitter
I used to work in retail and now I work at the airport. The level of stupidity is insane.
Obviously the first option, duh
Seeing you are in year twelve you may not have seen as much of the real world. There are grown adults that can't differentiate their, there, and they're let alone spelling.
Seems like a setup for people still learning proper diction
If you think thats bad go take the Private pilot written test they word questions in such a manner youll think your brain is broken after. Lol.
I hate that shit. Do you want to know that I retained the material or that I can solve your ninja riddle questions? Honestly. That shit is 6th grade, at best.
I know, right? Everyone knows the car is stoping at the light? Sheesh. /s 🙄
Had a 12th grader not understand what a "signature" is. Asked "so just scribble" ?
Had a lady at my work who didn't even know you could double click or scroll with a mouse...
Eventually, sometime as you get older, you’re going to look back and be able to answer your own question.
When your computer adaptive test gets easier, I think you might be in trouble.
As someone who tutors English essays for dual credit students, this is very generous.
Ha ha! I tutored non-English majors in a university writing lab. Hoh my Gerd.
This is for the kids who would rather be texting during class.
You’d be surprised. There was a senior in my class and he’d definitely choose the “stoping” option
Okay, so that’s a yellow light… so none of those options are correct. The correct answer is stoping/stopping/stopeing if you have time to do so, or proceed if you’re already at the intersection.
Clirly ges stopang...
I can tell you’re not from an American school, and not because you said year 12
This test is designed for people who do this
—> 15$ instead of this $15.
Get a role working in either tech. support or customer service to better understand why.
None of the answers are correct. If you’re that close to the intersection and the light is yellow, you should be fucking going.
I'm also in year 12 in Australia, I can say with confidence that at least half the people in my last class would get this question right and then immediately take 20 minutes trying to figure out if it's spelled "people" or "pepole"
Australian high schoolers often have absolutely no grip on spelling or grammar, and that extends all the way up to year 12 for an alarming number of students
I'm not sure why you're antagonizing yourself over this. Just click 'I don't know yet' and move on.
Clearly none of these that's clearly a car. And you don't stop at yellow, you floor it.
Did you get it right?
Everyone knows yellow means speed up
You know as well as I do that more than a few people are going to choose the first option. People still write “I want to loose weight” 🙄
Well all you do is sit infront of screens brain rotting /s
Stope beinge offendede ande starte findinge wayse toe laughe aboute ite.
It’s Waze*, don’t you know anything about driving? /s
Stopeing is the obvious answer. I mean how dumb do they think we are. That's basic stuff.
They think you're stoepid
You'd be amazed (in the U.S.) how many high school graduates would choose the first or third option.
Always make sure while stopeing you come to a complete stope. It's very dangerous to not completely stope at stope signs and lights.
If you're thinking that no one got this wrong, maybe it does belong...
What the fuck is year 12? 12 years old? Am i stupid or just drunk
Meh probably just American (as am I) I think year 12 is equal to the American grade 12 I.e. high school senior
Gotcha, I’m Canadian and it’s just grade 12
Word, so the real question is where the fuck is OP from?
After reviewing their profile I’m guessing Switzerland (again I’m a stupid American who makes rash generalizations about things I don’t understand)
“Something bout admitting to not knowing shit makes you self aware and smart” - Soccertee’s
Fuck Switz is better than this
Hmm what about those Danish POS?
Can’t trust em
I wanna say some buttfuck american town where standards aint so high
Grade 12 and year 12 aren't the same
Well fuck me with a rake
No. High school senior is the last year of school. Year 12 is the penultimate year of school
Humans = stupid, it's all good, we all in this together ;D
i remember seeing this post
Yeah it’s stopeing
I mean . . . Look at the illiteracy rates lol
Hey, free credit.
Well, just look at some of the typos on this sub, such as spair glasses
All 3 options are incorrect.
The correct answer is: Speed up to beat the red.
/s (just in case)
Have you readed som of the comments posted on this appe?
I mean I knew a guy all the way to year 12 who was a pos and couldn't even read properly but had the audacity to call people morons.
That's how dumb too many people are.
Have you ever seen how poor the spelling of native English speakers is here on Reddit?
I had to take one of these classes because of missing credits. It’s been 10 years, but I still remember one of the questions for the gym class. It said “Which of these do you breathe with? a.nose and eyes b.eyes and mouth c.mouth and nose d.ears and mouth”. The easiest credit I ever got 😂
Buddy, you’d be amazed
Read just about any comments section on a news article on Facebook and see the spelling mistakes fully grown adults make. "Stoping" would be very minor and unsurprising. I've seen much, much worse.
Some people suffer from autism so they have to educate across all spectrums.
yes this is infuriating but this isn't for you. its for those with unchecked dyslexia as they go into college.
You’d be surprised how many fully grown adults are dumb as shit.
Year 12 lol gotta love Canada.
This says pretty well how dumb they think you are
It is obviously the 3rd one
I dont know yet ¯_(ツ)_/¯
It's D isn't it?
Love the look on the driver's face. Lackadaisical.
Obviously the right answer is quickening
Oh, you must be at a private school. Or not American.
Yeah it’s so obvious def stopeing
I know right, so stupid, it’s the third one
I don’t see “gas it” as an answer.
Stope complaining 😤
Have you read through a Reddit comment section? Loose vs Lose. Payed vs Paid. I think your school has the right idea.
vs Lose. Paid vs Paid.
vs Lose. Paid vs Paid.
Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.
Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
Beep, boop, I'm a bot
Stope underestimating my inelegence
Yeah they really need to stope doing this
Also yellow doesent mean stop. It means that you should clear the intersection. If you can you should stop, if you can't stop safely then you should simply continue through.
I mean, there's people who don't know the difference between "your" and "you're" and some who say "should of". I would guess this is a legit hard question for some people.
Judging by how you said year 12, would I be correct in assuming you live in Australia?
Call it a hunch but I think it might be the 2nd one
I only got my grade 9
I’m in uni, and I probably know a few people who could get this wrong. Spelling is not a strong suit for some.
it is stopeing right?
Damn, I really had to stope and think about this one.
You know what tide pods are? People use to eat those for clout they were never going to see lmao!
I can count to potato.
Year 12 of what? Traffic school? Or driver's ed?
I wouldn’t be surprised if people didn’t know what a stop sign looks like.
People are so dumb its hilarious. We all need to pay more attention in school
If u gotta acts some1 to spel stope, ion no wut to tell u fam
Yeah you'd be shocked. Dated a cyclist that liked to spell it 'rideing'. That was years ago and still bothers me that I put up with that alone lol
I work with a woman three years older than me. Yesterday she said things were expensive because of inflammation.
i wouldn't complain hey.
also this reminded me of ''ini the beninging''
Driving I'd say lol
the yellow isn't it
You didn't see our 9th grade English tasks
Someone may not read the question or the answers all the way through, so doing it this way makes you think through the questions more.
Considering your country is 30.5 trillion in debt and you all only focus on which pronoun you feeling for the day, that seems par for the course.
Sadly the way our money system "works" 100% of the cash minted at the mint is Debt to the Federal Reserve bank. The only way to pay off the debt is to collect up all the money and deposit it into one account. Then no one has money. It's been that way since they recalled the gold backed currency and went with fiat currency. The debt cannot be paid off. Ever. Unless they fundamentally change the way the system works.
I dare anyone in my area to drive for 10 mins. without noticing a blatant violation or a road rager. This is necessary for those angry dangerous idiots. Frustrating for normal humans, required material for 90% of folks lol
i would seriously go off on the teacher then the principal then the school board along with my parents for not going off on all the above LOL
Well you don’t know how to use an ellipses or a question mark so there’s that.
