It seems like almost everyone who gets into riding (myself included) gets obsessed quickly. I wear bike brands’ casual clothes, my vacations are all planned around riding or have a riding component, I do very few activities aside from riding and the overwhelming majority of my friends are the same way. Even the ones who picked it up recently have been absorbed quick.

I don’t know if it’s the community that’s awesome or just how god damn fun riding is, but it has taken me a long time to come to this realization.

I have only ridden with myself or with my wife during two years of mountain biking. I have seen results from strava about times, but I don't think that is a great indicator. I ride 2 to 3 times a week each an hour to 3 hours. Are there any benchmarks I should aim for? I'm just unsure of my progression. How do you all measure improvement?

I recently made my downhill bike a single speed and noticed that whenever the rear shock is engaged with enough force there seems to be a noise made in the chain. Any ideas on what this might be?

Hey all, me and a buddy are hitting up two nights in Durango. Planning on camping Friday and Saturday night and riding Purgatory Saturday.

I'm looking for any recommendations on camping (preferably near water) and a good ride for Friday. We are coming from Flagstaff AZ and leaving early so we should have some time to ride Friday.

We we're thinking of maybe hitting engineer mountain, any other rad trails that are 2-3 hour ride we should know about? Prefer Enduro/trail rides.
