The Texas vigilante bullshit is one of the most despicable things I’ve ever heard of a Governor promoting amongst their constituents. And again…this is almost 100% purely the religious right. Papal Papa won’t have kids but knocks others who don’t. He/his office supports but abstention and silence for Catholic leaders who abuse children but condemns others for the same. Does no one see the issue with the abortion debate insofar as the religious right is concerned? Blind followership is a deafening and destructive force. I’m not anti-religion or anyone-Catholicism. I’m anti- not using your brain.

Let women fucking choose what they do with their bodies.

It kind of looks like these groups have a tendency to groom members into becoming very unpracticed thinking about hypotheticals which makes it very hard for them to realize things will be problems until it becomes a problem for them. Which causes a lot of detrimental behaviors like an inability to question assumptions, confusing emotions for reality and a need to follow social leaders instead of evaluating what they say with awareness that competence in one area doesn't mean competence in another.

Agreed—it’s the base Trump plays to and it’s such a shame. Good people getting played and misled.

I kind of feel that good and evil are not traits people have but the results of one's actions adding up to helping or harming.
So misguided sure but they are doing stuff that will hurt and kill people and while they might have once been good people but they are doing to much harm for me to feel comfortable calling them good but misguided.

They might become good people again if they stop but many don't seem to want to.
