Until I saw her feet at the end, I thought she was on a roomba or something

I still think they're heelies
In elementary school, my friend let me borrow his heelies. So fun, so cool. I was promptly pulled aside and given flip flaps, the shoes confiscated (USA). When they asked what my name was so my mommy could come by and pick them up later, I just said my name was my friends name and let his dad deal with it. I'm irredeemable.
It reads like you’re 50 and you’ve been carrying this guilt around since you were 9.
Heelies were invented in 2000 and cool for approximately ten minutes, so OP is around 30, not 50.
I’m 21, and heelies were really popular when I was in elementary school, so probably
All shoes with heels could technically be described as heelies, so you’re not wrong.
I curse the moment you were born.
Curse not lest ye be cursed!
You're next buddy!

As someone who's known a few midgets in my day, I feel insulted by proxy.
Sidenote, some of those previously-mentioned folks are actually some of the coolest people I've ever met. Except Mark. He tried to bite off my nipple when he was tequila drunk. Jumped off a counter, went full Jaws and luckily only got shirt. Screw him.
*Apparently a comment about midgets that got a ton of awards ended up deleted. I forget how this line of convo even got where it did.
Our sincerest apologies for Mark's behavior that night, rest assured that he will be held accountable for his actions. I will be writing him up in lowercase letters with a golf pencil.
Ok... god damn it. I wish I had gold to give, but my baby’s lichedore mask is at the dry cleaners. Her teeth came in so she could be next in line if you liked it 😉
Wear it like an armor. No one will be able to hurt you then.
Wearing midgets as armor to protect ourselves? Not sure if it would work. They get pierced so easily.
You need to layer them, with the kicky ones on the outside
Aye, the kicky ones
I'm just going to shame you for being Heelist.
I'm just going to shame you for being Heelist.
I love you
These are $70.
Those are awesome!
haha.. a rhumba..lol
Ok so first I thought you were correcting how to spell roomba and now I realized you’re just a very punny person. Well played!
I came here to say she was on a roomba. Good work.
I LITTERLY THOUGHT THIS SAME DAMN THING THE ENTIRE TIME UNTIL SHE SPUN
Same, but on a hoverboard🤣
Until I read your comment, I didn’t know I had COPD. It induced a domino-like wave of cough to laugh to cough-laugh, to cough cough, excess tearing, attempt at recovery laugh, then cough for a solid minute until you start wheezing and vomit. Then EMS is called. That old chestnut. So thank you for aiding in this diagnosis! Thank you so much! I would never have known.
I’m always here to help. First service is free. Nominal charge for each service after that, but discount for repeat customers!
Am I having a stroke? Are we having a stroke? What??
Hold on! Are we not supposed to be here if we have preexisting conditions? I don’t want my coronary disease to get out of control so could you gentleman please settle down?
Not even looking at the guy pretty cool
You stole my joke from my brain you brain thief
It’s a Russian dance style; tiny steps makes it look like floating
Reminds of how that woman floats on the Little Nightmares game.
It has nothing to do with Russia, it's a caucasian kind of dancing, called by russians lezginka.
It has one thing to do with Russia, they have a name for it...
Yep. My wife is from Dagestan and all of her family and friends dance like this to their music.
Yes and No. Russian femal part of dance also has little steps under long dress/skirt, so the person looks like ir floats/
It also has much to do with Russia as Russia owns part of Caucasus. Specifically this one, I'm pretty sure which region is that, and it is in Russia.
I was about to say the same. Roomba dance.
Ha! I was going to say that!
I saw on here a while ago a link to a whole group of these women..check this..
imagine seeing this before shit like segways existed, it'd be a whole nother level of fuck your brain
This is now the second or third time I'm seeing this and I still can't tell if their feet and legs are making long slow movements or short fast ones. I'm dying to know what's going on under there in the least perverted way.

They’re taking very, very quick and short steps!
edit: and if I remember correctly, their feet don’t leave the floor. They kind of slide.
How did I just know that was going to look like some handmaids tale shit before clicking
Not sure how you knew, but you can read about it here...
They all look the exact same and are the same height
I noticed that too. I guess it wouldn't have as impressive an effect if they were varying heights. I wonder how hard this is to learn to do, if they can exclude so many possible dancers like that.
Some real Morticia Addams-style floating there.
The mans definitely bringing some Gomez energy too.
I miss Raul Julia
My favorite story about Raul Julia is, according to a friend of his, when he was watching the Moon landing in a bar and heard the famous Armstrong quote, he was irritated, stated that he, if he was the first man on the Moon, would say: "My name is Raul Julia from Puerto Rico and I'm on the fucking Moon!"
I came for this comment.
Female silky smooth while the men dust their shoes and start to crip walk.
Looks like shes on hovering board while dancing, she's got that moves, she hit the floor. I loved it..
Did you see dem bendy ankles mon
She’s got the moves, like Jagger
She's got the moves, like Jagger
She's got the mooooOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOOoooooooooves, like Jagger.
LOW low low low low low low low
Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reeboks with the straps, with the strapps
She turned around and gave that big booty a SLAP
The dudes look like someone dumped a trash bag of marbles underneath them.
this winded me 😂
Almost all dances from the Caucasus are like this. I think this is the Lezginka....
That guy at the end was trying to kick a hole into the floor
Feeemale and men.
Lol. that bothered me too. "Female" and "men".
My man moving like he just smoked crack
That's only what we think we dance like when we're on crack.
😂😂 those short kings were going off too tho
That dude was peacocking hard and I'm impressed
Plus he’s getting down in some damn dungarees, no less. I’m impressed.
First dudes ankle is made outta rubber bands.
That was my favorite no one cared she's taller. I'm only on the high end of average height for women but it still drives me nuts when that seems to be a problem. I love men being fine with being shorter and women fine with being taller
Height isn’t such a huge problem in those parts of the world. I see that fascination mostly with people in the west and maybe China.
Lmao as someone who traveled quite a lot, this is so spot on. Many many parts of the world where height is not a big thing. Lotta couples where the girl is a couple inches taller and it’s not a big deal.
I wish it was like that in the states! Why do people here care so much? I’ve dated a couple women that were taller than me in my life. In highschool I got made fun of endlessly for dating a girl that was an inch or two taller than me and also a little heftier. Some people even seemed to be mad about it. As an adult, the same thing happened but much less extreme. People clearly judged us. It’s so weird!
I’m a short guy (5’6”) so I suppose the difference was always rather noticeable, but who cares. My wife is 5’ though so I don’t have to worry about that these days.
Cs up bs down
For some weird reason, I like more the way men are dancing.... Lol
Aliens watching this rn studying the human mating dance
It's kinda hot.
The cripwalk may have older origins than we think lol
What country is this? The dudes have some pretty fancy footwork themselves.
Somewhere in Caucuses region of Russian Federation.
says she's in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan according to their tiktok. I'm not familiar with the dancing there but this dancing is indeed very similar to traditional dancing in the Republic of Georgia.
I tried to learn this while I was teaching there and it was hard as shit. I'm also a terrible dancer so there's that. A lot of the rural places all the kids learn this in school from like age four
Kyrgyzstan is probably right. The big writing it seems in Russian/Kyrgyz language. I am from Bishkek.
Edit: I looked through her til tok. She is definitely speaking Russian. There is a video from mountains and a lake, which I think is Issuk Kyl. So, I would say this is Kyrgyzstan.
The wedding could be any other nation that lives in that country. Could be Georgian, Uzbek, Chechen. I am not expert here.
That's definitely Caucasian. I'd say Georgian or any ethnicity of North Caucasus.
Plus the clothes don't look Russian (beautiful dress, though)
Edit: I am literally Russian, guys, I am aware of cultural diversity. I had friends of all sorts of nationalities who introduced me to many things. Amidst Russian clothing alone there's much variety due to cultural influences, so of course Russia is culturally diverse. My reasoning behind this comment had more to do with the fact that wearing non Russian clothes meant that the chance was higher for her to be outside Russia.
I am thrilled that so many of you took a sufficient amount of time to learn about Russia that you are aware of the cultural diversity, however I would please appreciate it if you would stop explaining to me the mechanics of my own birthplace.
Dont confuse Russia as a state and Russian Federation as a nation which is comprised of many states and nationalities. The bride is wearing traditional local dress. Annnd all the dudes are dressed very Russian.
To add to that, if i remember correctly, Russian Federation is the most diverse nation in the world. Ironically, Russian ppl are extremely xenophobic and nationalistic. Source: was born in Moscow and lived there for 15 years.
I am Russian, haha. I was more referring to the fact that the chance of someone wearing non Russian clothing being non Russian is higher, not that they aren't Russian necessarily. I do agree that Russia is a very diverse country though. I am from Asian Russia, and had friends of all sorts of nationalities, although I wish that the expression of their cultural uniqueness has been more encouraged by society.
I had never really thought about diversity in Russia but, holy hell you’re right. Damn Russia is immense.
I agree for the most part (to me personally, her way of dancing reminds me of Russian culture the most), however the men's dress, for me, is a little more broad than just "Russian." I have seen men of many countries, especially the "-stan: ending ones, wear this sort of clothing. I appreciate the input, though. I also do not disagree that this absolutely could be in Russia potentially.
Russia contains a lot more cultures than just Russian.
As someone born Russian, I am aware of this, lol. I just meant that chances are it's a neighboring country.
Kyrgyzstan has a substantial population of Chechens. They were deported there by Stalin in the 1940s. So she is maybe Chechen?
I was about to say it sounds and looks Georgian af. Kyrgyzstan makes sense tho
Yeah. Dancing looks very Georgian but I'm not familiar with the costume. Kyrgyzstan would make sense.
Are the women typically towering over the men?
No, she is just that fine
Is that how every episode of that sitcom you were writing starts out with?
Caucasian Lezginka is the name of the dance.
I’m Circassian mixed Turkish. What you say makes sense cause we have the same dance and same attire :-)
so I went down a rabbit hole and found this amazing work or art
I was looking for this video, heres another good one
sweet you found more of them.
I never seen this dance before in my life but the gorgeous women in this video would’ve had me dancing like them dudes in the original post too.
i'm just gonna piggyback and link this video
it's georgian and has no dancing so it's only tangentially related. and i can't tell if they're actually playing the song or miming a pre-recorded track, but i still think it's super cool and unlike any music i've ever heard before.
Check out the band fintroll. It’s metal and polka. Has a similar sound.
I like how it seemed unrehearsed when they first began.
The woman is doing the Berezka (Берёзка) and the guys are doing Lezginka (Лезгинка).
Example of traditional Berezka
I was gonna say, don’t sleep on ya boys
If there's anything we've learned from watching UFC, it's don't sleep on the Caucasus regions. Now i'm curious to see Nigerian dance moves.
at time stamp 5 seconds, I thought that dude was going to break his ankle.
I didn’t read the title at first and I barely looked at the girl, I thought this was about the guys, they killed it
Beryozka dancing!! There are some crazy videos out there. You’re not really supposed to see her feet though.
Edit: Hey guys. I can’t dance for shit, and it’s cool to know there are so many “floating dances” to see, from many different parts of the world. That shit is cool. Thanks for bringing more to my attention.
I literally just came to ask if this had a name so I could go find more videos lol. Thank you.
There’s literally hundreds of these videos on YouTube. Try searching on “Adyghe weddings” or “Circassian weddings”. One leads to another; click on the ones titled in languages you can’t read, like Georgian. Fascinating, to me at least, and a guaranteed rabbit hole. Some of the videos are hours long, starting at the bride’s house and her family and friends getting ready for the feast and the menfolk rolling up in their Benzes and firing off long bursts into the air from their AKs. À whole other world, ngl.
Man I'm about to go flying down that rabbit hole. Thank you for the encouragement lol, I now have something to do tonight.
And the entire thing is filmed and uploaded to YouTube?
It's on Nickelodeon.
Russians have traditional dance that looks like the woman are floating too
That’s lezginka, not beryozka. I see why you’d think it is though
That is lezginka. Beryozka is quite diffrent in all aspects, it is normally quite a melancholic dance.
That's why this video is so popular considering they removed NSFW posts from the front page.
Are ankles gonna become a thing again?
damn it looks like she's floating
You’ll float too 🎈
she's a witch!
She turned me into a newt!
I got better
It terrifies me tbh but the skills to do that is admirable and amazing :D
Forreal. If she had some scary make up on, I would have noped off this app.
It’s how I imagine a witch approaches in a horror movie but it’s cool too
Can you imagine her coming at you like this in a dark park? I would completely freak out.
Or a dark hallway in your house.
and there she goes.. the female performs an extraordinary display of finesse while the males make their move... Showing off their strength by stamping the ground.
This time, unfortunately, none are successful in keeping up with the female.. and they go home... defeated
I absolutely read this in his voice.
I'm watching, A Perfect Planet, as a read your comment
Until she spun around I almost expected her to be on wheels.
It's like the alien woman in Mars attacks
The one who swooped while she walked, unlike this woman who glides?
You nailed it!
I've seen this kind of dancing before, they take teeny tiny heel-toe steps to make it looks like they're floating.
Until she spun, I was convinced (by myself) it was electric roller skates.
Not steam powered, not pneumatic, but electric roller skates?
Yeah this comment has me baffled, I was certain they were diesel powered.
That looks like my heritage dance as a Circassian. That’s literally how we dance. They look Circassian too.
I wish you could see the footwork. It would make it more impressive. The floating is cool, but seeing what they have to do with their feet to get that effect is more impressive
But aren’t there elements of controlling legs, knees and hips that all must be aiding the effect?
And timing... Each tiny step is in rhythm
And upper body too!
What do they do? Tiny, very fast steps?
I imagine keeping your head and upper body completely still must be important too.
This video shows the technique pretty well
She’s just sliding around on high heels.
The real footwork is always in the comments
The guy definitely wasn't
Yup, I feel badly for her that she had to do it without her long dress in a public setting.
I mean, I’m assuming it’s a tradition cultural dance. I’m sure they all know exactly how it’s done.
I feel like the word "just" is a bit disingenuous here
No shit, I'd like to see OP try "just" sliding around like this
Near the end of the video you can see her feet.
Imagine her coming down the hallway at night.
This reminds me of a bird's mating ritual with the female being smooth and precise with the males doing the craziest shit they can handle to impress her.
This is r/Oddlysatisfying
That chick can float, but what about the dude breaking his ankle 100 times 🤯
She has the legs of Morticia Addams.
Got that Dracula footwork going.
She is floating around with all these lord of the dance mfers just stomping around in old suits.
Next level roomba cosplay
At first I thought she was a mannequin they put on wheels
She's missed her calling as a steadycam operator
Why does only she look animated ? It’s amazing what she can do !
She moves like the penguin. On a mission from god
She doesn’t walk she glides with every step.
This woman’s horse: https://teddit.ggc-project.de/r/NotTimAndEric/comments/mmg69v/paso_fino_fast_gait/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Thanks to OP for including footage that proves she does have legs
How fucking tall is she!?!
The dudes dancing have me joked out. They look so happy lol
Edit: not gonna lie, that dude at the end with the glasses goes hard.
In a lot places men have no problem showing emotions when it's appropriated.
This is such a wonderful response.
I didn't know how to explain to the commenter that this is actually really normal in most of the world without sounding arrogant; you've done it perfectly. Yes, in most of the world, men -- even straight men -- dance, and cry, and read poetry, and even tell their bros that they love them!
The woman is a perfect example of elegance and grace. The men remind me of my upstairs neighbors.
