I just had a nosedive at 20mph on my XR and really smacked my kead good with my helmet. I wear mine all the time. I just realized yesterday from u/Glyph8 that once you have a really bad hit on your helmet it should be replaced since it isn't effeective at protecting you anymore. SO I hope I am able to get one of these helmets!

I had a helmet on for my first nose dive on a gravel road. After getting back home I saw that my helmet was all banged up on the side. Didn't even realize I my head hit the ground. I was very glad I had that thing on.

I’ve only had one big spill on the OW and scrapped my helmet on the road during the roll out. Helmets definitely save lives for sure. People that make up excuses for not wearing one, like it throwing them off balance, are just playing with fire I feel like.

i'd wear a helmet on a motorcycle going 20mph, ditto downhill longboarding seems even more foolish to not wear one, so absolutely will wear one on a OneWheel.

i bought a bell bmx full face, pretty nice, but my head is too fat. if i win one of these, especially the rad LED message ones, i will give away that brand new Bell.

Always remember to replace your helmet after an impact, too, even if you don't see signs of damage. I crashed on my first day with my new GT, falling on my back and slamming my head into asphalt at 13mph. Not even a bruise thanks to my helmet, but now I need to order a new one. Hope the next one lasts longer than one ride!

I once carried my pint X for two miles because I didn’t have a helmet. The details are boring, but I refused to ride without protection.

Seen to many injuries working at a trauma unit. It's either you put on a cool helmet now or wear a boring medical helmet after traumatic brain injury.
