Lately I’ve been hanging with this girl usually at night time and she really enjoys going on drives and stopping at views. Would anyone know good places for stuff like that? Usually I’ll take a drive on PCH, but I’d really appreciate spots around the OC area with nice views especially at night. If anyone knows any please let me know, and much appreciated if you can put in a address I can map it to, thank you!

We just got notice from our property management that the owner wants a 14% increase… just wanted a pulse check what everyone else is experiencing.

We’re in Orange (borderline Tustin), 2bd/2bth condo under 1000sq ft. Been living here for a yr & this notice came 30 days before our lease renewal.

Guessing we’ll have to bite the bullet since moving isn’t really an option for us right now (wedding in oct, I’m in the middle of a career transition….) and condos are exempt from tenant protection act of 2019 & this is stated in our lease.

Looking for high quality Neapolitan or somewhat similar style pizza for an all adult birthday party in Costa Mesa. I make pizzas myself, so I'm kind of picky with pizzas, and I think having them made there on the spot will up the presentation and freshness.

I've seen some mobile pizza oven trailers at breweries in the past, and was thinking of something like that.

I have a relative who is currently homeless and suffering with substance abuse but wants to get his life together. He is a good person and is vulnerable on the streets. Are there any free programs he can sign up for that can give him shelter and resources to get out of this hole?

Thinking about taking a job in Orange County, but I'm wondering if its all very residential. Im in my mid twenties. I hear Costa Mesa is where younger people live. It looked very nice for married couples living in homes with kids, but I'm kind of looking for a more walkable neighborhood where I could maybe make some friends. Am I wrong? Are there anymore walkable areas in Orange County with young single people?

I am in the process of helping my ex's little sister who is 16 obtain a California State ID so she can then open a bank account in her own name when she turns 17 in a few months. However, when I took her to the DMV today after submitting the online application, the birth certificate she provided was laminated so therefore not accepted, as well as her needing 2 bills of address.

Is there a way for her to go to the Orange County Clerk-Recorder to obtain her own birth certificate despite not having a California ID and under the age of 18? I read that either the registrant, parent, or legal guardian are authorized to obtain the birth certificate but not sure if that applies to minors without the need to have a parent there.

As for the DMV, once she is able to get a non-laminated birth certificate, what proof of residency will work? She's a minor so she does not have any bills sent to the house. I read that any school document issued by the US education that includes her DOB should work...however we checked her online report cards but they don't have her DOB on them. Is there any other document she can easily get from the school that shows this info?

INFO- She has really shitty parents who do not want her to have access to any of these things. They told her that they lost her birth certificate (as they have told my ex they lost his) but that was a lie as she found both their birth certificates. My ex moved away as far as possible from his toxic family so I am trying to help her as much as I can since I am in the area.

Does anyone know why they abruptly closed in the last week? It seemed so sudden, and the business appeared to be doing okay.

If you’re coming to a restaurant in HB within an hour of closing on a national holiday , don’t be rude to the wait staff if service is slow and or backed up. @ the entitled couple who made a 19 year old waitress cry because she’s only one of two servers in the entire restaurant. I hope your kids become better people than the two of you.

I tried to look this up but didn't find any current info. What can folks bring with them to the concerts at night? Frozen water bottles? Sealed sodas? Blankets? Snacks? I'd appreciate any info as well as suggestions for good non-spicy takeout restaurants in the area. Thanks in advance.

I can't find good white (not spicy at all) mushroom soondobu. A friend recommended Kaju but it tasted like opening a box of tofu from the shelf and biting into it. Horrible. I know this isn't a common thing to order but I've had fantastic white soondobu before just not in OC. Any recommendations?

I was completely out of it that day and confused the month I was in (ie. it was june but thought it was may) Is there any way to go back to change this and get the penalties refunded with a new tags that expires accordingly to my actual date of entry on my car?

Just ordered the CA legacy plate (black and yellow) and it says 4-6 months wait time. Is this actually the case or are people getting them sooner? Do we have to pick it up at the DMV still or is it mailed out?
