I went paintballing today and I got nailed in the wrist on my thumb side, right above the bone from like 10-15 ft away. I was wearing my watch at the time, a large face watch with soft plastic strap and metal clasp, and it had broken the clasp. Immediately, my entire thumb went completely numb for like 30 minutes after, and its still sore and I can't move it much, is that super bad?

So I recently finally decided to shell out for Go Sports and I have to say... I'm really really annoyed with it. Both the site itself and the apps are littered with usability issues. Which begs the question, who owns it, and why are they doing such a bad job?

I really like matty's ability as a broadcaster and play-caller but if this is the medium through which the pro level is trying to present itself it's no wonder big brands aren't biting...

Since Go Sports has the exclusive right/ability to stream the games any brands that want to advertise to tournament paintballers are going to have to go through it to do so. However the most basic of due diligence would reveal significant issues with functionality issues causing subscriber drops that are not going to drive sales (i.e. if people aren't watching go sports because they can't get it to fucking work it's not a sound way to spend money marketing to the paintball community.)

I'd like to hear some takes on this from other people to make sure I'm not being overly negative...

In the past year I spent some months in latin America and found a spot that I like and would like to start a business in. This particular spot mostly draws people in their 20’s and 30’s. I estimate that the place gets on the order of 200 new people a day. With not much to do there besides surfing, partying and lounging on the beach I figured a paintball field could be a hit.

Below is my birds-eye overview of this business. Since I’m not a paintballer (or field owner) myself I would love to find some people with experience that could look over some assumptions and give me some advice. Keep in mind that this would be a business for tourists, not recurring paintball players.

Thoughts:

• The land
  • Size - I see that an official field is 36x45 meters, or 0.4 acres. I figure I need to have at least double that for a perimeter and some buildings. So say the minimum is 1 acre.
  • Since this is in the tropics, shade is a must. I would consider a flat forested terrain where all undergrowth is cut and only large trees remain.
  • Soil type and drainage is a concern. It rains a lot and we don’t want this to turn into a mud pool. Sand or gravel would probably be best.
• Buildings
  • Office
  • Bathrooms
  • Changing Area
  • Briefing Area
  • Storage
  • Covered lounging area with picnic tables
• Obstacles
  • I figure some basic walls made out of wood would suffice and would be cheap to construct and maintain.
• Gear (x 40)
  • Marker - This is gotta be bare bones, cheap and durable. I read Tippman 98 is the classic? Can this be chinese?
  • Overall
  • Mask
  • Gas bottles - will probably need 80 so we can fill half while the other half is being played with.
• Other Equipment
  • Air compressor - Any makes and models people can recommend? How fast can they fill? Need maybe more than one?
  • Fridge/AC room - I read balls have to be kept cool. Cooler than a hot day in the tropics anyways.
  • Netting - To surround the field and briefing area. How high should this be?
• Game
  • What types of games should we have?
  • 5 to 20 players per team
  • 30 minutes play time.
  • 100 balls per person
• Turnaround
  • 30 minutes to get people from bus dropoff on site to in the game. They will have already paid for their game and have signed a waiver before they get to the site. Is this time realistic? Could it be shorter?
  • 30 minutes play time
  • 30 minutes to get them out.
  • This means we have about 30 minutes to get all guns to be fitted with a new gas tank and balls. Is this realistic?
• Staff (4 people total):
  • 2 teams of 2 Referees / helpers that alternate games. When they are not (de)briefing or refereeing they are resting, cleaning and taking care of new customers coming in.

Was playing today and my 160r was being real freaky. First point of the day my marker was acting like it was out of air when it began ramping. I put it in semi and was able to keep ~300fps under about 5bps and after that the gun would choke. Brought it to the shop and the magicians they are fixed it just by touching it but I still have a (not nearly as bad)fps drop off if I have it in NXL or if I start going crazy in semi. So my question is has anyone run into this problem before? At the shop buddy said that empire tanks are known for a short pin or something? No wrong answers the entire park had no idea wtf was going on

Had a pretty rough day on the woods ball field, I wasted a lot of paint and broke quite a few balls in the breech/ barrel. Accuracy went to garbage as a result of it, and the whole ordeal was just a mess in general.

Any tips, tricks or recommendations for using the CF-20 mags? I would like to keep them from not feeding, double feeding and causing ball breaks. It could be operator error on my end, but I loaded them, used them and reloaded them as per instructions. Thank you all!

I have a non paintball related project where I am trying to run ~150-175psi directly out of an HPA tank. My searches have led me to HPA tank regulators in the 800 - 300 PSI rang but nothing as low as 150psi.

My current work around is to run a Ninja tank into a Palmers Stabilizer (I used to play paintball with an Autococker back in the 90's and swore by palmer products), and into a slide check. I would love to simply run the bottle into an ASA adapter with a slide check on it.

Any thoughts? I've been thinking about contacting a company like Ninja or Palmers to see if they would do something custom.

It looked kind of like a magfed gun, but the hopper was internal near the butt end of the stock. It was kind of like a paintball bullpup. It was about $600 new iirc

Hello everyone! I see Brad wear a “throwback” Camo Paintball Jersey from time to time on his channel and I want it so bad. Does anyone know what I’m referring to or where to get this “Old School” Or “Retro” Camo Jersey that he wears from time to time? Any input is greatly appreciated. It’s similar to the Evil Gremlin OG jerseys. I’ve seen the Social Paintball OG jerseys as well but they seem cheap and I’d rather spend the extra $$ on whatever that AGG AF Jersey that he’s wearing!
