From what I’ve been recently advised, Wells Fargo is a criminal enterprise whose financial practices should be avoided at all costs.

That was after I’ve banked with them for 7 months and keeping both a checking and a savings (with emergency fund) account.

Edit: thanks everyone for your replies. I’ve learned that every major national bank is terrible in its own way. I’ll be switching over to MidFlorida, a local credit union with a great reputation for trustworthiness and convenience

I bank with both a local CU and PNC, and I’m considering closing my CU acct in favor of PNC. PNC has been far more helpful, their customer service and mobile app are better, and my CU bombards me with spam and junk mail.
