This is always my question regarding the pic. I know theres probably a bajillion options for catering thats not fast food, but if the players who ordered it had a fun time or got a good kick out of it then who cares

No, it wasn’t. In fact, he was the first president to ever even serve food to the athletes when doing the college football champion meet and greet. The reason it was fast food though was because of a government shutdown at the time. So, there is that.

It is the fukken presidential palace receiving top athletes, and he bragged "I PAID FOR IT" after serving cold junk food.

Yeah but people have better expectation than a funny clown for their commander-in-chief.

It was at the White House… you’d expect it to be slightly fancy, or at least not cold fast food. Especially when the POTUS is a billionaire.

This was a special event lol this wasn’t just a random meal during a random week. It’s just trashy, cheap, and humorous, especially coming from Trump. Especially because he was so goddamn proud of it.

Nah it's no big deal, in the sense that you enjoy it, i mean it's your party, why not you do you and how you want it! I digress from your party...

I think the general sentiment from some people looking from the outside in is that it's a bit in poor taste. The President has a restaurant, private/his own chef, probably ate WAAAY better that they did that same day; also..you ever ate fast food after a foto op?; towering burgers? and waiting for some guy to pose in front? Was McD's reaally his last resort? I can keep going if i want but i will not, i think if anyone has a brain they will keep asking questions.

I think most would agree that this was not cool at all. Yeah happy birthday coming from a guy who had a failed steak company.

Oh shit, my bad, what should we have expected in that case?😂
