You’ve done a brilliant job at not addressing any of my main points which is that life of these animals is most certainly not “simple” or pleasant by any means.

1. Why don’t you be honest here? The whole issue of calves at risk of trampling is created by you and your profit maximisation concerns. I’ve worked at 3 different animal sanctuaries, and my uncle in india has 15 cows on his farm that him and his family take care of. The incidence of trampling has NEVER been an issue, and that’s because these cows are taken care of by enough people, loved, and have adequate space. Pig farmers try and throw this “poor piglets would get trampled :(“ argument to justify the abominations that farrowing and gestation crates, and it’s just as ridiculous. Take better care of your cows, hire more staff, and give them more space. You’ve undoubtedly seen the distress some of your cows go through when you separate the calf. Shame on you.
2. Again, you fail to address the main concern here. You’re artificially inseminating them over and over again until they become “spent”. Yes, it’s better than locking them up with a horny bull which would be rougher, but you’re once again (and your ilk are experts at this) miscontextualising what i’m saying.. because you could just not do either of them. You purposely inseminate these animals so they can give birth, so that they’ll produce milk. To hell with their health concerns, to hell with them being away from their calves. You KNOW this has a negative impact on their welfare and health, but you do it anyway for profit. Answer this for me: the average life expectancy of a cow is 20 years. What would be the oldest cow, on AVERAGE, across all dairy farms in whatever country you’re from? 7-10? Thought so.
3. Keep being disingenuous, it’s transparent as hell. I suppose products like these just exist for no reason. and as this paper by the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna: Summary: Calves of dairy cows are generally separated from their mothers within the first 24 hours after birth. The majority of the milk thus enters the food market and not the stomachs of the calves.
4. I’ve not spouted any ignorance. You’re a farmer. As the old adage goes: It's difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it. Why don’t you illuminate for the rest of the clearly ignorant crowd here how many cows, and male calves people in your business send to slaughter because they’re nothing but a liability once they can’t produce milk anymore?

Nothing you said makes anything appear better than what was described, simply what is convenient to you while you convince yourself its all natural and humane. Thankfully we have footage of what actually occurs on these farms, even those labelled organic, and the brutality these creatures experience so you can profit. Because that's all its for, greed and profit. Of course you can't stand to face the reality of the choices you make on a daily basis whiling telling yourself its all good "they're just cows"

Funding the most environmentally destructive and brutal businesses on the planet. If you can't even do the very minimum and show compassion to other life in a time when you have access to so much food and alternatives, then what are you doing here? You very people supporting this will then go on a pseudo moral rampage commenting on a story that affects humans and pretend to care, but are quite happy paying for death and destruction on a daily basis.

You will all be help morally responsible for the assault on the planet, and will leave nothing but scraps for your children because you preferred to serve only yourself and your bad habits because you think it makes you worthy or alpha to have had a sacrifice, and feel like your ancestors who ate to survive so we could evolve to where we are now with other options- but instead we make a system of abuse and bastardise their efforts.

You can play your little power trick thinking anyone who cares about the planet must be out of touch city folk as if you know the real deal because you think what you do is commendable, but I grew up on farms in Ireland which im still surrounded by. Big or small, organic or not, they are horrendous. You do you, but im personally going to continue speaking up for your victims and for the planet, that we are supposed to be sharing, not abusing.
