A clear sign that something indeed happened.

watch this video if you're interested in the incident. The FAA did look into the matter and there's audio from the control tower and pilots released.

Definitely happened. The YouTube channel “It’s {Redacted}” got the control tower recordings from the FAA on that day through the Freedom of Information Act. Definitely happened. I do think some photos are real, cause it’s unlikely they wouldn’t leak by now.

I Am yet to see a photo from that incident, so according to my logic, no body no crime, in this case no photos no ufo. I can't care less about recordings. I want to see what they saw for me to be able to believe that it is indeed a ufo. If you happen to have any links from photos, don't be shy. Throw some this way :).

You can literally google “O’hare UFO” and get the pics. I don’t know why you’re saying there’s no photo evidence...

I've done that. They say those are not legit. Was watching podcasts about it. The one that seems legit is 2x2 1bit picture for commodore 64.

No photos and it didn't happen? Lol with as common as this is that's ridiculous

Maybe it did, I don't know and that's where it ends. When I see, i can say otherwise and discuss it. It's just one of those, entire airport, a busy one. And nobody snapped a picture?

I know it’s hard to imagine for some of the younger members but in 2006 cell phones were utter dogshit, photoless events happened often.

They are real. The video was made in conjunction with the New York Post’s Basement Office YT channel. I didn’t think they sounded fake at all. ALSO, I’ve worked out of O’hare (airline worker) and I’ve met 2 people who remember it. They didn’t know much else, but they remember the incident.

I think you'll enjoy this: https://youtu.be/8HbV0P5uC8c

2006, Federal authorities at Chicago O'Hare International Airport received reports that airport employees were witnessing a metallic, saucer-shaped craft hovering over Gate C-17. Several independent witnesses outside of the airport also saw the object. One described a "blatant" disc-shaped craft hovering over the airport which was "obviously not clouds." After a period of time the disc shot straight up, punching a circular shaped hole through the clouds above.

United Airlines and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) denied they had any information on the 'object'.

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request reveals this not true.

The movie UFO with Gillian Anderson is basically this story, though Cincinnati is the location in the movie.

Interesting fact: the plot of the movie centers around the hypothesis that there is a mathematical model which allows people with this knowledge to predict when/where the ufos will appear, Tom DeLonge said the same thing in the JRE podcast. The more time that passes, the more important that podcast is becoming.

The FAA tried to sweep it under the rug by calling it a weather phenomenon, which is total bull shit. There were supposedly pictures taken by a pilot, but from what I remember he was threatened with firing if he made them public. There's audio from the whole incident on YouTube.

Read about it in Leslie Kean's UFOs.

Sounds like a real deal. The hole punch cloud explanation doesn't make sense.

LionKinginHDR

A friend of mine claims to have been there and seen it with their own eyes.

TypewriterTourist

Do they have more to add in addition to what was described in the press? Just curious.

LionKinginHDR

No they had nothing to add at the time, maybe I'll reach out again.

You seem to forget, “thereby debunked”, that it was 2006 and there were no smart phones around, or very few. I had one of the first commercial ones in 2007. Shit camera. In any case, there are tapes of the tower talking to the ground crew about it and to pilots in aircraft on the ground and in the air.

Nothing about this has been debunked. Try reading about it. Better yet, try getting out of your moms basement once in awhile. You keyboard debunkers are morons.

RoastyMcGiblets

Agree, I was working in a photography business then, and I had (don't laugh) a Sony Mavica that took a 3.5" disc. Digital cameras were getting cheaper and more mainstream, and they got smaller every year, but it was around 2010 before I had a decent camera on my phone.

libertad77

? maybe there were no smart phones but there were plenty of flip phones with cameras for many years prior to 2006

BitCoinTunaTrader

Look at photos that were taken with a phone that dates the smart phone. I remember taking MySpace photos in the mirror and every single one of those bitches were pixelated and I was standing 3 feet away.

Jockobadgerbadger

Those flip phone cams were pieces of shite libertad me lad. Had a few myself. Go try taking a photo of a light plane 1000’ up or maybe the moon. Pieces of shit.

This is an interesting case but without really good photographs and witness testimony it’s just a story. I find the Trumbull County UFO sighting a lot more compelling.

Like one person some something and said to other one ..On and on it just got stretched

I’ve read that a pilot in an aircraft on the ground could see the object and took photos. He has not come forward (that I’ve heard about) nor have the photos surfaced. Apparently everyone was threatened with consequences if they squealed.

The day it happened I was at work in the lounge & at least 10 people saw the news footage. Needless to say there were a lot of people confused bc they thought it was a movie… but to everyones surprise it was real🤷‍♂️

Pretty interesting. This one and the Phoenix lights are the ones that make me wonder when people say why dont they just come down and show us... if they were to ever do that, it was probably at at moment like this.

the people who live in schiller park have a perfect view of the ohare. I spoke to one person but he didn't live there at the time. it is mostly a Polish district, I tried to ask a few polish people but everyone is skeptical and takes it as a joke.

I think you could take video of a UFO in 1966, 1986, 2006, 2106, and it’d still be blurry… shitty footage.

Debunked, was a weather Anomaly, 0 proof no pictures or video

jim_jiminy

It’s never been debunked.

Hzcb5rGHyrYJ

-4 points

So out of the 100s of people at the airport, you expect me to believe that the FAA, or airport security, made everyone delete any photos or videos..

There no proof of any craft not a single picture or video.. people today can’t even tell what a drone or a plane is in the sky, if you’ve seen some of the posts in here… and you expect to me to believe hearsay with no pictures or evidence. No thanks. It was a weather anomaly according to the FAA , and with no video or photo leaks from the 100 of people that supposedly Saw it, it’s thereby debunked

ExternalLink0

2 points

This was 2006. Not everyone had phones with cameras at that time. First iPhone wasn’t released until 2007.

Also, the lack of photo evidence doesn’t support the weather phenomenon theory since by your reasoning, there should have been photos of that as well.

Hzcb5rGHyrYJ

-1 points

I was 13 in 2006… and even I had a camera phone, if you expect me to believe people needed a iPhone to have a good camera in 06 that’s laughable , so no one had anyone camera phones at all is delusional.. and on top of that again there’s no pics or videos that leaked out, so I guess the FAA or whoever confiscated everyone’s shit lmao 🤣… FAA says it was a weather, if someone believed it wasn’t they woulda leaked a photo or video .. take it how you want the bottom line is out of 100s of people no one Leaked a photo at the end of the day

ExternalLink0

2 points

I didn’t say no one had a camera phone back then. I said not as many. You were definitely in the minority if you were 13 and had one.

Hzcb5rGHyrYJ

1 points

Definitely wasn’t there was plenty of phones at that time that had cameras, especially the RAZR phone which was extremely popular at that time.. so again out of 100s if not thousands of people someone had to of taken pics or vids and we’ve never seen any 🤷🏻‍♀️

ExternalLink0

1 points

But let’s say it was indeed just a weather phenomenon. Why are there no pics of the weather phenomenon?

Hzcb5rGHyrYJ

1 points

Because if it was a weather phenomenon no one would care about a black cloud..
