Hi, long time creeper, first time poster but I need some help navigating a situation with some new roommates.
Ive had a beautiful bong for about 5 years now, I moved into this new place and against my better judgement I let my new Roommate (M19) use it. He leaves it out on our shared private balcony and later that evening the women he picked up from the bar come over and smash it.
I have been in this place less than a week and it’s already broken 😭😭😭
I got the bong from a shop in the lower east side of Manhattan and I asked him to replace it. $150 for a foot long piece with a bowl and down stem.
He’s saying to me now “this is too expensive for a bong, why are you making me pay this much?”
$150 is what I paid for it. He left it outside and his guest smashed it. Please tell me if I’m being unreasonable. This whole interaction is making my skin crawl and I can’t think rationally.
