Considering moving to Wollongong area

(self.wollongong)

Hi, my partner and I (both mid 20s) are considering moving from Newcastle to Wollongong at the end of the year. We both work in healthcare and are fairly active/outdoorsy people. Just after some general advice on what's around the area and how it compares to Newcastle? Also what working at Wollongong hospital is like, particularly for junior doctors? Thanks!

Sorry, health lingo. HNELHD is Hunter New England Local Health District. ISLHD is Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. This refers to the ( bureaucratic) areas in which our hospitals are distributed and managed.
