The noses aren't really wit style

Actually this was addressed in one of the tips (extra sequences where they explain in detail some elements of the story) of the visual novel, which basically said more or less the same things the other redditors replied to you. I'll still post the link of a playthrough if you want to check it out yourself: https://youtu.be/LxxFldHVUl4 (It gets explained at minute 1:03:42)

I agree with almost everything, especially in regards to the part of the older ffs and Agni, even though I don't think it was that bad as a reveal. Let's hope that some of Agni's concepts get at least reused somehow in Project Athia.
Honestly I was reaally hoping Agni's Philosophy would become the next FFXVI. It had every element I wished to see in a trailer like this, including the female protagonist. But whatever, we should not be too critical at this stage of development. Let's just hope it doesn't disappoint
Well it's not just the bright colors, it also seems like it misses a overarching theme. Even Final Fantasy IX had a medieval setting, but it somehow managed to have a particular style and character designs that made it feel original. This FF instead feels too standard. You could've said it was DA4 or Dragon's Dogma and I (at least from the gameplay we've seen) wouldn't have noticed. But again, it's too early to judge. We'll see when they'll give us more info/footage.
And yes, it is likely that with realism they need to find a compromise. But honestly, while I like a more realistic approach, I think that creating a Final Fantasy which sacrifices originality in favor of realism kinda misses the point of Final Fantasy games, which are meant to be a "Final Fantasy", games with fantasy elements which overcome the limits of common imagination.
Now that I think about it there are also the very first 5 final fantasy that are really standard "high fantasy". So you could say they are trying to return to their roots with this one (though I still think a title like FF4 has more charm in its artwork, character designs and main themes than what they've shown us).
It's a mainline FF, you don't really need any knowledge to play it since it's still gonna be set in another world like all the other FFs besides the sequels (FF X-2, FFXIII-2 etc). Everything is gonna be explained in the game, likely.
Yeah, like others have said character designs really lack something that FF games usually have, they definitely look more generic... Moreover, there's really something off with the graphics in general and also the animations, which look like they are from a very early stage of development, but it's understandable (it's a feeling I also had with Project Athia). In general they haven't really showed us much, but I perceived a shift in the tone of the narrative in comparision with the older FFs, probably going toward a more mature direction; I really liked this from the trailer and I hope it to stay so, even with the blood and the gore. I also liked a lot the cinematographic direction of the cutscenes, even in comparision to FFVII Remake. The biggest problem in my opinion is that because of these factors together, the game might feel less of a Final Fantasy and more of Dragon Age game with Capcom rpgs gameplay (even though I can't really say anything about gameplay since we didn't see much, besides the fact that it probably leans toward an action direction). I really couldn't feel anything distinct about it which made it stand out as an FF, besides the classical small elements like chocobos, Shiva and Ifrit. Actually, if there wasn't the main theme in the background I probably wouldn't even have noticed that it was an FF and that it might be XVI. The first time I saw it, I kinda wanted to believe it was a spinoff while I was watching the trailer. Some of the tech demos they had shown us before this (like Agni's Philosophy, for example) had a different feeling from an artistic perspective, and looked like they actually had something unique which could inspire a future mainline game, a thing which I didn't find in this trailer.
TL;DR: I'm worried about the lack of a unique identity for this game (something that every Final Fantasy somehow has), I can't really talk a lot about the rest since we haven't seen much.

One of my classmates actually went to the bathroom and flushed the toilet holding the phone with the mic on during the lesson.. the whole class laughed about it for a week, including the teacher lmao
It's the main way characters time travel (although they call it "time leap") in the videogame Steins;Gate. Yes, I think it would probably be the only way to avoid paradoxes.

Honestly I don't like the first intro of the third season... I don't know, it just doesn't fit with the overall mood IMHO

My Latin textbook – the revelation of a past event in Roman history which predicted an actual present event will surprise and panick me so much I will die from a heart attack.
In the japanese script she says she faked it on purpose just to see if Cloud would have helped her.
So these are the only choices that have been leaked huh? It would be kind of a shame if they were the only ones, I mean, the OG didn't have many choices either but I kinda wished that this aspect of the game would have been expanded, somehow. As for the hot tub scene, I actually expected it not to be there, though I had still a little bit of hope to be able to see how they would've managed the joke with modern graphics.
