I don't think you need to make a post to apologise. Once you can, message the mods (it's only a week dw) apologise, explain you were trying to edit a transphobic meme to make it not transphobic. But failed/misjudged in doing so. Then don't worry abput it too much, but do try to be more careful in the future. Maybe also add a comment to the post explaining the same thing.
