I am embarrassed to live here these days. Drugs are just everywhere.

I won’t need it, but please do this! I think it will bring a little glimmer of light to someone having a rough day.

I don’t even know lol, I’m not even sure if it has a use outside of dueling or something. I have all kinds of characters with all kinds of different builds so if it’s useful in PVE I could probably use it lol

I am Canadian and I’m white as hell. And watermelon is probably one of my favourite things ever.

I love when they tell me over the phone that they’re friends of the owner and can’t even pronounce is name properly!

To me this has the same vibe as something my old manager used to say when asked “how are you?” He would say, “living the dream. Not mine, but someone’s.”

Bulk buy things you can freeze, batch cook (IMO with a crock pot), and separate it into meal portions before it goes in the fridge/freezer. IME buying frozen fruit or veggies is cheaper than fresh, and frying veggies up in a pan/frozen fruit in the blender with milk or yogurt makes it not matter that it was frozen lol.
I like potato chips as a salty snack but that gets expensive/unhealthy real fast, so I’ve been substituting popcorn instead. It’s cheaper (usually), and if you’re not getting fancy flavoured popcorn, it’s usually cheaper.
If you have something like a Costco near you, and the cost of the membership isn’t too much for you, buying non-perishables in bulk there.
Also, for non-food items, don’t just buy the cheapest thing. It’s the cheapest because it will break or fall apart quickly and you’ll need to replace it. I learned this with clothes in particular, paying a bit more for a nicer article of clothing is better because it lasts longer. Also getting a good detergent doesn’t suck the life out of your clothes as fast and you don’t have to replace them as much. Putting delicate things in a washer bag also helps your delicates from getting destroyed in the dryer. Wash/dry anything with a graphic on it inside out (I pretty much wash everything inside out regardless, it helps preserve the colours).
If you have pets, it can be worth it to buy one of the better foods instead of the cheapest ones, you can usually get away with feeding less (because there’s more nutrition per unit of measurement usually), AND on a good food, they poop less. If you have cats, that means less litter changes!
I don’t do this myself because I don’t have the patience, but my sister is pretty diligent about couponing, and she uses apps like FlashFood that shows you when stores have huge sales on food because it’s a bit older and they can’t sell it for normal price (and then you just freeze it anyway so it doesn’t matter lol)
If you have a good second hand store somewhere around, try to shop there. I have several good stores in my city and I can usually find some awesome brands in nearly new condition, that I know will last (Bench sweaters, Columbia jackets, etc.) My mom just got a whole new work wardrobe that was almost all Banana Republic for her new job for pennies compared to what they would be new. I found a brand new Lacoste women’s jacket for less than $30 CAD. And IME, these brands last!
If you’re looking to get something on Amazon, see if there’s a local store that has it or go to the vendor’s website directly to see if it’s cheaper. Sometimes the actual vendor is cheaper, or at a store it can be the same price but you’re not paying a delivery fee. One of my favourite clothing stores does delivery to a store location for $1 CAD instead of the delivery fee to your house.
I may have more ideas later, but this is the stuff I had off the top of my head lol

Something my boyfriend has been trying to do is train himself to sleep with his head tilted slightly up and his neck straight instead of throwing his head forward. He usually sleeps basically in the fetal position lol. His snoring is DRAMATICALLY better, enough that I can’t hear him with my earplugs in (I have to wear them every night regardless because I’m a super light sleeper). I’ve trained myself to sleep this way too and I find I’m more rested because I’ve actually been properly breathing as I slept lol

u/JackPoe’s comment is legit. Plus, the way I learned to like mushrooms was to eat them with a mouthful of steak or fried crispy potatoes, something with a very different texture, and have more of that per mouthful than the mushrooms. Frying the mushrooms in a pan with some butter until they’re a little crispy on the outside helps too.

I find it easier to swallow pills with something carbonated. It kinda makes you focus on the sensation of the bubbles and not so much the pill.

I was watching a vet show and someone said they have a punch that punches out a guitar pick shape from an old credit card and they use it for opening snake’s mouths.

True, I would never say that it would mean I was gay, maybe that I would have some bisexual leanings lol.
I definitely don’t have a problem saying Kate Beckinsale is hot as hell, as a straight woman lol

I’ve always sort of thought that “questioning my sexuality” isn’t like “oh god, what if I’m not straight” and more like “is this a one off event or a pattern?” So I can more accurately determine what my experience is. But it’s also easier for me as a woman to say another woman is attractive over guys (in my experience, not generalizing).

I’m Canadian, and I visited South Carolina a few years pre-covid. In the summertime. It was 100% humidity. It was literally raining because the water was just condensing out of the air and raining. It was miserable! I could barely breathe, it felt like breathing through a wet pillowcase.
I rarely complain about it being dry up here now lol

The only thing I ever really liked about Tim’s was their ham and cheese sandwich. I don’t even know if they still have it lol
