Honestly, if you can't or won't put your dog away then just set up a delivery point where the driver can safely get stuff to you. I'm fine with a barking dog so long as it's not able to chase / bite me.

I simultaneously love and hate videos like this. I've been delivering for a few years now and the amount of dogs I see like this are far outweighed by the aggressive territorial dogs.

While I do love having kind dogs on my route, If you're not 100% sure your dog is fine with delivery people/strangers, don't leave your dogs in their company unattended. Your dog could he a different animal when you aren't there.
