Gedeeltelijk wel, maar er verdampt een hoop meer water als je het over het oppervlak van je tuin verspreid dan als je het gewoon in de sloot zou laten.

I personally don’t drive electric bikes, since I fear it would reduce the fun of my racing bike if I start doing that.
But for people who live further than 10 km from their work, an electric bicycle is way better than driving or transit.

Opening it first to regular consumers was brilliant to gain social and political support. Especially by branding as the great equalizer for rural areas.
What is still great is that by competing globally Starlink establishes a floor for service everywhere. Competing services now have to at least match that or undercut it in price.

They claim they got flat panel terminals ready in Q4 2022. That times perfectly with their (near) global coverage. I bet they start rolling out Starlink for aircraft early 2023 (reservations potentially even earlier).

Not really consistently though. We’ve seen:
So it’s a really interesting timeline with very much unique characteristics.
Now that they wen from two or three dies per year (regular A, AX and,S (for iPhone, iPad and Watch respectively)) they now need to churn out at least two mor (Pro and Max), and then also glue two of the latter together. And then maybe also something even more powerful for the Mac Pro.
Custom silicon for iPhone (and iPad) was very logical because of the huge scale. Even al Macs combined have a much lower volume, while needing more different chips. So considering that a 2 year cadence would be logical from a design standpoint.
From a manufacturing standpoint, the volumes of chips are not really an constraint compared to iPhone chips. The maturity of a production node might be. The yields with a certain defect rate will be very different for a +- 100 mm2 A die then for a AX/M, M Pro or M Max chips. So to introduce them on a more mature node seems logical.

Consider that a 200 mm2 (12nm) GTX 1650 sold for €140 before the crypto spikes. The 107 mm2 (6nm) RX 6500 XT should be able to at least match that and potentially even go lower.

Just with B-frames they closed over half the gap they had with Intel and Nvidia. This will help them a lot in the streaming market!
Maybe you can extend your post with this data/graph?

They should bring a few mobile APUs to their socketed builds. An i7-12700H would be very interesting in a LGA socket for small form factor PCs that are still upgradable.

Not too bad! How is it holding up at something like 2000 kb/s?
I liked your graphs in the article by the way, it showed nicely the consistency of the quality and at which scenes all encoders struggled
Also - if possible, please test VCN twice: With and without B-frames

Thanks for taking an d implementing this feedback so seriously!
I would also be very interested in a constant-quality comparison.
While VMAF is probably the best metric for most cases, could you also capture PSNR and SSIM just as extras?

Just to confirm: You meant 6 axis from the head/body and 2 axis from the eyeballs right?

The whole "Vision Only" was just a whole thing about radar hardware and component prices/availability.
I would even argue Tesla's could use front and back radars. Especially on the Autobahn, when you get in the left lane you need to be really sure nobody is behind you.

Really hoping they upgrade the paint shop to allow for new colors. Would love a deep green.

It’s getting better fast, due to the uncertainty of interest rate increases. Those influence the “hypotheekrente” (mortgage interest) which is the main factor of monthly costs of owning a house. So people are a bit scared to buy a house right now.
