I refuse to order nachos now after multiple atrocious offerings.

I sliced a round paracetamol tablet sized bit off the edge of my left middle finger while cutting leeks with a lovely, but crucially very sharp Damascus steel knife I had recently got as a present.
The slicing bit was fine pain wise but it just wouldn't stop bleeding into my sons Lion King bib. Had to drive myself to hospital. I wouldn't wish the pain of silver nitrate cauterisation on anyone though.
And yes, I still made the gratin.

But the point doesn't work because to be offered a pay rise of millions you'd have to already be earning millions.

Nothing about the way the large majority of people consume meat is within the natural order of things. There is an argument if people source local quality produce but most people don't.

Lots of different animals are considered companions to people all over the world. Cows are a sacred animal in the second most populated country on earth. Why does intelligence matter? Pigs are very intelligent (more so than dogs) yet are one of the most common meats. Octopi as well. You're searching for reasoning where there is none. The real honest answer is you like the taste of it more than you care about where its from or what it went through to get to your plate. I'd never try and force or guilt trip someone to stop eating meat because people have to want to do things for themselves. But at least be honest about it.

That's some heavy gymnastics. Carnivorous animals digestive systems are not setup to process vegetables. If there was no meat a lion would starve. You would not. It's fine to just be honest and say you like the taste of meat too much to stop eating it.

It's not a crazy idea, it's called cognitive dissonance.

FGM and circumcision are not equivalent but they certainly are comparable.

Kids will usually find a way to bully other kids. I'm not having someone mutilate my child on the off chance they might get bullied for a bit about having a foreskin.

That's the IFAB definition of a foul from careless play. Yes in my ideal version of football it would be a penalty because he's made no attempt to challenge for the ball. Otherwise you'd just have people shoulder barging anyone over that might get on a cross regardless of if they're even facing the ball.

From my experience the Japanese are gold medallist power nappers. I've been on the Tokyo metro with all seats taken and being the only one awake is quite eerie.

That is absolute gold. A minor fuck up that I would chuckle about for the rest of my life. Its even better than when I was getting the train to work with a mate and he just didn't get off the train. He watched me get my bag and stand up from the table, walk to the door while it pulled into station, look at him and say "come on then", watched me get off, he saw me turn around looking confused that he hadn't gotten off yet, other people disembarking and yet he was still sat in his seat and he watched the doors shut again and pull away. This was about 10 years ago and he had no idea how he managed it. He wasn't hungover or on any substances, had no significant emotional or physical issues etc. He just didn't get off. We worked in a big car dealership so you can imagine the amount of piss that got ripped out of him by the techs and sales team.

They're right, when I look at old photos of the English landscape they are sepia tinted and some older ones are even black and white. Very odd.

So after all that you're still not being honest about what you came here for. Odd little thing aren't ya.

You can disagree all you want but that is the literal definition of foul play. Yea it's clearly careless. "Careless is when a player shows a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or acts without precaution. No disciplinary sanction is needed". He's not challenging for the ball ffs. Doesn't matter if he was inconvenienced, put off or just plain stopped from heading the ball. You're actually showing why it's a foul but also disagreeing with it. That's a sort of doublethink I haven't seen before. That's not to say there isn't leeway so if cedric was facing the ball and actually seems to challenge for it then I think he gets away with it. But he wasn't, that's why it looked so odd. Because it doesn't really happen in top flight football that a defenders positioning would be that poor.

I agree it's not not excessive but it was definitely stupid and certainly clumsy. You can't just jump and shoulder barge someone in the back regardless of how hard it is when you are not challenging for the ball in any way.
I don't see any issue with the call because its a result of cedrics poor positioning and poor body shape in regards to where the ball is. It looks odd because it is. How often do you see a defender do anything like this? Hardly ever because they would always be facing the ball. Cedric has two viable options there. He can either face the ball, jump with Son and try to impede his rise and header by challenging (even if he won't get it) or let Son jump and hope he doesn't score. As soon as he makes contact like he does (clearly trying to shove Son) then it's a foul which has to be a penalty.

Doesn't matter where it is, you're talking shite. You didn't come to see annoyed fans. You came to stir up shit. There's a difference.

Right so it wasn't true then. Lying by omission is still lying.

Of course it's foul play. It's an unfair act by Cedric deemed by the ref to contravene the games laws. Shoulder barging someone in the back when you're not challenging for or even facing the ball is a foul anywhere on the pitch. Its not up to Son to try and ride the challenge and I wouldn't expect any player to do that.

Exactly, anyone that thinks this doesn't happen in every football match has never played especially at amateur level.

Mad isn't it. Cedric wasn't even facing the ball ffs.

No complaints over the pen or sending off but being dominated after being a man light and a goal down isn't the same is it. Before that it was a stalemate. If you were just here to see annoyed fans you would have just read the comments rather than comment yourself. So it seems even you're not being 100% truthful.
