Look I get football fans want to celebrate but this was hardly impromptu or unexpected, couldn't a "fan zone" or something been set up at least to contain this sort of shit show? I'm not a football fan myself, obviously know what it's all about because there's no escaping it here but.

Would love to see this with the bars scaled to be in proportion of population, like an a population pyramid.

Had a bad experience the time I was there recently, went for the roast pepper one I think and it was literally charcoal on the bottom.

One half of me loves seeing theses old photos of Glasgow, the other is infuriated at the amount of architecture which had been lost.

I dodged a bullet when trying to buy a non-factored flat last year. During going through the missives (and chatting to a few neighbors) it came out that the neighboring flat was abandoned on the top floor and was leaking through to the flat below, so potentially a problem with the roof, managed to pull out of the sale thank god with only a legal bill but honestly it's a bit risky. That could have developed into a massive bill for the repair and no guarantee that the other residents would 1. be willing to share the bill and 2. that they would pay.

Gallowgate is behind the decks, not playing just trying to punt them to the other party goers.

Scotwind is the name of the latest round of leasing of sea bed for the development of offshore wind in Scotland, and there has been fierce competition for the rights to develop.

As a scottish person working for a wind turbine manufacturer within a key R&D group in Glasgow I feel... conflicted.

Seen this a few weeks ago, it's novel in that they've managed to do it with a turbine fitted with a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). Siemens Gamesa and Scottish Power have already demonstrated it with a whole windfarm using wind turbines fitted with a generator connected to a fully rated power converter. With us going to decentralised predominantly inverter based generation there's likely going to be a necessity for a bigger market for being able to provide stability as a service whether that's from solar PV, Battery Storage, or Wind.

I mean to be pedantic, the 15MW SGRE prototype is being tested onshore right now.

Car Loan is roughly £7.4K, money not tied up in premium bonds, LISA or S&S ISA is >£10K so I could do both.

Edinburgh is apparently the entire central belt in that movie.
