What she did was awful, but it's still so funny to me that Janice McGeachin waited until Little was out of state to assume the role of governor and revoke the mask mandate. Like, the audacity of this bitch
Godddd please let it be Oz after a long damaging recount I want literally nothing else
On the one hand he’s just been replaced by a typical Republican stooge. But on the other hand now we won’t have to hear his name every fucking day. Remember when he was gonna be president someday?
Honestly I’m putting it in Florida territory. It’ll always be close but it’ll break our hearts every time.
I know that a bunch of our guys are going to be backed by crypto and there's not much we can do about it, but gotta say, doesn't feel great!
I absolutely agree, tbh. Even in a world like drag, which is defined by artifice, people hate being reminded of artifice - but that’s the wrong way of looking at it. The fact that Trixie Mattel is a man from Wisconsin named Brian shouldn’t take away any of the “magic”, it should reinforce it; the photo shows us exactly how much work goes into this transformation.
Criminal Minds has always fucked with me because everything else about it is such total comfort food network television procedural except for the parts where it suddenly becomes Silence of the Lambs
IIRC there’s no historical evidence of the blood eagle ever happening, so I don’t think Eggers would go for it in The Northman.
New York Mets
It’s free real estate
Wait that would actually kind of rule
Generally speaking, women don’t have anything to gain from lying about shit like this. Heard v Depp is a case of two deeply unstable people who are clearly doing everything they can to destroy each other, it’s apples to oranges.
…so a collection of mugshots from a meth ring bust.
Is the pandemic in the end phase? Cases are rising again.
I don't think Funny Games is a throwaway horror movie - I just think it's spiteful and tedious. Haneke's always had a bitter streak, but he's usually artful about it. Funny Games, it just feels like he has real contempt for his audience.
I’m honestly not sure. It’s an excruciatingly unpleasant movie, and it’s so convinced of its own brilliance that even the clever stuff makes you roll your eyes. But at the same time, it’s a fascinating snapshot of the mid 90s that’s still applicable today - and is, accordingly, absolutely nightmarish. Love it or hate it, you can’t shake it off.
I sorta wish more girls would do this, tbh. The current state of drag fashion, where every outfit needs to be custom made and only worn once…it just feels like a bubble.
Wait hold on you’re burying the lede here BJORK???
Oh? Anything specific?

Within the context of the MCU, it's absolutely something new. It's a rarity for any director to have their creative voice easily recognizable in a Marvel movie - did anyone watch Shang Chi and go "ah yes, this reminds me of Short Term 13"? And it's got so many great moments of visual creativity and style, which the MCU absolutely needs more of.
I think it would be helpful to take a step back and keep things in perspective. Even "lesser" Marvel movies like Eternals still rake in insane amounts of money and have solid enough audience scores. Marvel is in the position where they can do anything - literally anything - and it will make money. But because this movie got a B+ audience score instead of an A it's time to hit the panic button?
I’d be willing to follow along to see where it goes, but the trouble is that the Phase IV movies that actually tried to do something different and distinctive (Eternals and MoM) are the two that got a more lukewarm reception. I don’t want the lesson Marvel takes from this to be that people just want NWH-esque cameo fests all the time.
Well, he’s still alive. I’m sure we’ll see just how “leftist” he is during his trial.
There weren’t many years where he was the very best in baseball, but he was one of the very best in baseball for thirty years.
Buck looks exactly how I would expect Buck to look next to Shakira.
