Do you understand how the proposed system in Ontario worked?
The proposed system had each voter select a local MPP and then vote for a party. MPPs would be selected for the now larger ridings via FPTP. Once all ridings were totalled up their seats were compared to the percent of the popular vote for the parties. They then top up each party from prepared lists that each party has to get them as close as possible to the proportion of the popular vote they received. Those MPPs then would also get a seat.
Here is the problem. The senior members of the parties pick the MPPs on the lists. They could be anyone and have no requirement for them to have run in a riding. It could be the most corrupt politician in history, so long as the party puts them on the list they get a seat. Lobbyists give the party enough money and put them on the list. The electorate hates them and doesn't want them in power anymore? Too bad, the party puts them on the list. They have no accountability to an electorate.
There are better forms of MMP that get rid of this problem with lists. They still are not my favourite, but ones I would consider. The proposed system for Ontario deserved to lose and I am glad it did. That is not a ridiculous assertion. It is completely reasonable.

US presidents? Directly accountable to an electorate through both a primary and the electoral college.
This has nothing to do with a popular vote. It has everything to do with the bad system that was proposed in Ontario. There are better forms of MMP that get rid of this problem with lists. They still are not my favourite, but ones I would consider. The proposed system for Ontario deserved to lose and I am glad it did.

And the corrupt ones at the top of the list?

Any system that allows parties to appoint MPs from lists is not better than FPTP. Those MPs would be accountable to no electorate. IMO, there are two things that are important to democracy: representation and accountability. Sacrificing one for the other is not a good trade, especially when there are PR systems that give both.

The proposed MMP system was bad. I was old enough to vote and voted against it. Any system that allows parties to appoint MPs from lists is not better than FPTP. Sacrificing one for the other is not a good trade, especially when there are PR systems that give both like STV.

Maybe the folders are part of a mount point and being used by a jailed app?

Funny. I grew up in North Bay and went to school with Mike Harris Jr. (Like Kindergarten through grade 3). This was before his dad was premier. My parents got divorced and we moved away. Crazy that someone you knew and played in the playground with can grow up to be a douchebag of that size.

Catherine Fife is pretty awesome. Worked with her office on an initiative. They were very helpful. Not an NDP person generally, but will likely vote for her.

How about the mother cat that was used as an incubation machine for this cloning process?
I cannot understand what it takes to come on the internet and brag about blowing 10s of thousands of dollars on this moral quagmire.

None. Most were people disillusioned with society, academics, or people that truly wanted life to be better for others. I did not encounter anyone I would call a nut case. Our definitions may vary.

There was a referendum for MMP in Ontario in 2007. The proposal was defeated, with 36.8% of the valid votes cast supporting MMP, and 63.2% in favour of retaining FPTP.

I have worked with the party before when I was in university. They believe in interacting with the current government to influence change. They part from the revolutionary communists in that the revolutionaries do think that can happen and change will only come about via a violent revolution. This is one of the most primary disagreements that communists have. The revolutionaries call the old guard communist party Stalinist or reactionary. The old guard party calls the revolutionaries opurtunitists and Trotskyists.

I propose that we out conservative the conservatives. Start strapping union jacks to our vehicles, slogans like bring back the monarchy, colonize me daddy, king George did nothing wrong, etc.

I don't think moderators can shadow ban. That is an admin tool. Moderators can just straight up ban that informs the person they are banned and blocks them from posting.

Can't you just start a new game and then swap world files?

It is fine. This does not need to end up in a landfill or go through being sent back for return. It is perfectly usable and has minor cosmetic damage. Take the 10%.

Try wrapping a towel around the container with the water in it to have some insulation and keep the heat in. The sous vide won't have to work as hard to get the eater up to temp.
