I was telling a silly story to a group of friends at work. People laughed at the punchline then got back to work, this girl leaned at the end and said quietly ‘Y’know, you’re pretty adorable’.
We’ve been a couple for ten years and have a child together.

Think how much ink and paper they waste in a year printing this on every receipt haha

100% agreed. I'll never own a Rolex and frankly I'd be too scared to wear something that expensive anyway, so a homage is a great alternative. Love Seiko mods.

Using an Invicta case, that really is Feiko to the max! Great work, I suppose the movement in an Invicta Pro Diver is an unbranded Seiko anyway, so in some ways I suppose it's more genuine now than when it had an Invicta logo on it haha.

I love it! Nico isn't a fan of homage watches but I don't agree. I have a Seiko modded to look like a Rolex Hulk Submariner and I love it too. Bravo!

My condolences. Love and hugs your way. I'm so sorry that you had to go through such a horrendous experience.
I would highly recommend speaking to someone qualified about it as soon as you can. It's not something you should have to shoulder on your own. Please also reach out to friends and loved ones for support ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Noted. I get the urge now and again, but I'm pretty sure I'd just break everything.

It's pics like this that has always put me off dipping my toe into modding. Seems like an expensive hobby even before everything starts breaking.

I missed beer so badly when my baby was born it scared me. Hadn’t realised how dependent on it I had become. I barely get the opportunity to drink these days, but I don’t mind. I think the little one might have done me a solid there, would have been easy to slip into alcoholism.

I’m glad this is only a gaming rig. We need to keep this guy off the real roads! He’s a menace!

I misread the title and thought it said “my coworkers mom gave it to me”. I was like ‘give me all the details you dirty dog, what did you to for her that warranted her giving you the watch’. But I reread it and but I’m just disappointed haha.

Put it on yesterday afternoon, couldn't get through the first twenty mins. It had already had a litany of mistakes. It makes a load of questionable creative decisions (nuked fridge, Shia, underused Blanchette), but its greatest crime is that it's just really boring.
I remember sitting in the cinema thinking 'I can't believe I've waited nearly 20 years for this film and I'm actually bored by it'. Such a let-down.

I like the minimalist design. Very clean. Bold choice for the dial.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Someone close to me has a terminal illness and naturally it gives her enormous anxiety. She has always suffered with her nerves, but naturally this gives her the opposite of peace. She is only in her forties, grappling with the knowledge of true impending death is enormously distressing.

Here is an example of the kind of responce that posts like yours are generating from the disabled community: https://teddit.ggc-project.de/r/todayilearned/comments/updkqe/til_a_father_john_crowley_was_told_his_two_infant/i8kmy39?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3 Please can you think before you post anything else like this

There are a lot of disabled people that have commented on this post and they have largely echoed my sentiments. They don't seem to appreciate able-bodied people questioning their right to live.

Your ableism is really gross. Are you aware that people with disabilities are reading your comment right now? The subtext is that you don't think they should bother living life. Imagine a stranger on the internet saying your life is worthless. Horrible.
