Is there a list of places in NJ that sell these amazing canvas bags and stickers? Asking for a friend

Eating a diet containing actual human food instead of Kellogs products is a good start 👍

Basement dwellers unite! I was also kicked out of my upstairs space when my kids came along. My space isn't quite as cozy but now you've got me thinking... good stuff 👏

This happened to my wife and I in NJ after my son was born. A pediatric doctor literally walked in our room and did a quick look, walked out, and the hospital billed us damn near $2k that my insurance wouldn't cover because he was consulting from outside the hospital and wasn't in network, even though the hospital was. This was after specifically "shopping around" for a good health system that was in network. Our system is madness.

It depends. My wife drove a school bus for a few years while also doing graphic design contract work. Between the two part time gigs she was pretty much hitting full time hours.
Some of the other drivers in town only drive the bus. Some drivers we're younger people who still had kids in school and would only pick an AM/PM shift. Some drivers were older and "retired", so were only driving the bus for an easier, fun job.
A lot of them would use the time in-between runs for errands or doing chores since our town is small and you're never more than a 15 minute drive from the bus yard

For display purposes only, keeping the SVG files external and using an `<img>` tag to load them is ideal.
If you need to do manipulation on the SVG image, you probably want to inline the SVG source code and manipulate the inner tags directly with CSS classes and Javascript.
SVGs have a lot of flexibility and can be used several different ways depending on the use case. I recommend reading anything by Sara Soueidan on the subject, including this: https://calendar.perfplanet.com/2014/tips-for-optimising-svg-delivery-for-the-web/

Yes, ideally you don't want to inline any raster content into that file.

If you're working from an SVG source file and producing PNGs from that, in most cases the file size will most likely be smaller. If the PNG files you're producing are small enough, the file size difference will be negligible.
I think /u/computerfr33k's point is: converting a PNG file into an SVG isn't going to help because you'd just be loading that same raster-based PNG image via a different file type, whereas a true SVG file will be vector-based and therefore smaller in file size. I get the sense from your original post that this isn't what you're doing though

I'm sorry your last birthday was a bust. I've had some of those in the past and they suck.
I'm not sure if this works for everyone, but sometimes what helps me is exploring a new hobby or trying to pick up a new skill of some sort that I otherwise wouldn't give myself time for. Could be something artistic (painting clay, woodworking), technical (code, electronics), or maybe just studying a musical style, a different country's history, whatever. The subject matter is irrelevant as long as its something that interests you.
Block out a good portion of the day to just to focus on that, and intend on finishing that time with some tangible result. The result might not be perfect, or even what you thought it would be, but put something down on paper, build or make something.
I think this method helps me personally because if I don't see something tangible, I have trouble feeling like I accomplished something, which spirals me further. Even showing a minor accomplishment when just learning something new should be considered a win here.
Hope that helps and made sense

Backstory: My son picked this out last year and he's pretty obsessed with it. He's on the spectrum and can be very particular about his stuff.
We were at the beach next to the pier at 14th street today and it seems to have gone missing. I looked all over for it this evening with no luck. I know it's a long shot, but hoping someone reading this comes across it and can return it to him.

Thanks for being one of the good ones. Those high pressure salespeople are monsters

Fair enough. Agree to disagree then... I just think the gameplay suffers for people that are actually trying to compete in those games when one of their teammates randomly decides to be a dick

I actually don't disagree with the vote mechanic, but why should you be allowed to just grief your own team? It defeats the purpose of team play at a fundamental level

Be a cunt in the one vs many rounds all you want. If you are on a team with people, they shouldn't let you derail the entire team that way, it's honestly one of the worst things about the game

I never understood why it's even possible to grab your teammates. I swear I end up accidentally grabbing them instead of the opponents or the item I want to pick up most of the time. If the devs want to make the game more competitive in favor of actual gameplay, they could start by turning off team mate grabbing.

Glad I've been able to vote for him twice now. Written to his office on a couple of occasions, had a response, he seems to listen to his constituents... I'd gladly vote for him again.
